Chapter 1 : Murder or Suicide?

After updating her diary , Kiara went downstairs to the dining hall . Grabbing her seat , she waited for her parents to join her . Their helper , Manish , whom Kiara found strange and a mystery , brought food and served them as he did every day . Being a girl of 15 , she was quite than many of her classmates , and when Manish approached her mom about working as a house keeper and help , she couldn’t help but think how strange it was that he convinced her parents in a few seconds when it was considered to be the most difficult task .Her mom trusted him and would give him bonus but today something smelled different , something was not good .

After completing their dinner , Manish looked at them as if he wanted to say something but was not sure . He then said , ‘’ Sir , I need to talk to you.’’

‘’Yes , Manish’’ , say , said Satyendra

‘’Sir , there was this man who visited your house yesterday and was asking about your whereabouts , when I saw him I felt strange as he was covered from head to toe. ‘’

‘’I see , don’t worry , you know what my profession is , some clients hesitate to reveal their identities , it’s fine , don’t think too much , go , clear this mess and then prepare some tea for me .’’

‘’Okay , Sir’’

Satyendra's POV

I entered my room after I had my dinner. I don't know why , but after hearing Manish's words I can't help but think about it. Never in my life has a person reached out to me at my residence . Something's strange. I reached out to my drawer and took out my documents. They were not merely some documents , they were my treasure . Many lives depend on these documents and it feels like someone's watching me , he knows what I am doing and he wants to conceal these documents. Removing my spectacles, I took a look at the side table where a small picture of my family rests. I got up from my chair and rushed towards my research table , taking all the snapshots of the documents. I sent those documents to my elder daughter by mail . Yes , if anything happens to me , these documents will be safe and my daughter can deliver justice to everyone. After sending his documents to his daughter , he quickly wrote something and hid them in a safe .

'' Let's dig into today's trending news , it is found that the helper , Manish , who worked in Sharma's residence has been found dead at his residence . What's shocking here is , his body is hung in the same way it was in Sharma's . The police filed an FIR chargesheet against an unknown person. We will keep you updated. Switching off the television screen, Mr Shinde , sub - inspector of Ahmadabad crime branch said,'' This is a case of perfect murder''

'' But Sir , how come you are so sure that it's a murder and not a case of theft? '', asked his counterpart, Mr Ghokle.

'' Can't you see , all the valuables are present , not even a single bundle of cash was touched '', said Shinde , '' and I feel this person knew the house well , as he escaped the purview of cameras as well .Infact no finger prints are found , Now only the postmortem report will solve our mystery and if my assumption is correct and I want to take charge of this case .''

'' Okay , sir '' , said Mr Ghokle.

'' Ghokle , I need the details about Sharma's by tomorrow. I need the list of everything - family , friends , enemies , neighbors and involve the cyber department . I need to get their phones checked. I need to solve this case as soon as possible .''

The whole town of Ahmedabad was shocked by this news. Many conspiracy theories were going , debates were being conducted on the news channels, but no one knew what happened that fateful night .
