The Dragon Princess and her adopted sextuplets with her Lycan King

Sapphira POV How.. Why...How could this have happened? I watched as both of my parents, the King and Queen of the dragon kingdom, were murdered right in front of me. By who you ask, well known other than my father's Chief Advisor Mason Grey. My father and Mason Grey have known each other since they were kids. Mason was bullied as a kid and my father was always there to protect him and have his back. Mason wanted to have a private conversation with my parents and myself. He wanted to talk about how we should be the superior supernatural race, since among werewolves,lycans, and witches we are the oldest supernatural race to exist. How we shouldn't have to bow down to other supernatural race kingdoms. My father and mother were very appalled by what Mason was saying. I was just a 16-year-old girl who just got her dragon (her name is Maggie). Maggie is a sapphire dragon, a very rare breed. Only 1 is ever born every 3000 years.I haven't shown anyone in the kingdom yet, only my parents. But I will get more to myself later. When my parents did not agree and said we needed unity between all supernatural creatures , without it we would be at consent war with one another. Mason was disappointed. Then, all of a sudden, the bell tower was ringing like crazy, which meant there was an attack on the castle. We got out of our seats. I was a little ahead of my parents getting to the door. Just as I was about to get to the door , I turned around to see Mason take out a knife and stab my father and then my mother a few seconds later. He backs away, relishing in his triumph that he killed the King and Queen. I ran to them and kneeled before them crying, trying to stop the bleeding on my father and mother. But the blood was gushing out too fast. My father looked up at me and grabbed my hand and he said, while coughing out a bit of blood, "sweetheart my little Sapphira, it looks like we won't get to see you grow up into a full adult". Crying, I held both of my parents' hands tight. Then my mom said to me," We love you sweetheart so much, grow up big and strong sweetheart, I know you will do well with your life and will be an amazing queen someday". My mom was looking up at me with tears in her eyes. I looked at my dad. It looked like he was mind-linking someone and took his last and final breath and said "sweet heart, everything will be all, everything will be all....and then he was gone. I looked back at my mother and she was gone too. The whole castle was starting to burn from the explosions that hit the castle walls. Rogue dragons and wolves got in and were fighting with our warriors. Warriors were trying to get into the room that had me,Mason, and now my dead parents were in. I just continued to look at their dead bodies and sobbed. I sobbed that I was never going to see my parents again. I sobbed that my father wouldn't walk me down the aisle when I would get married. I sobbed that my parents would not get to meet, or hold their grandbabies for the first time. Mason just looked at the royal family completely bored and unamused. "Oh jeez, would you shut-up princess with all the whining and crying? You are giving me a headache", said Mason. I looked at him, anger building up inside me. I wanted to kill him, I wanted to rip him up to shreds. "I'm gonna kill you Mason, for what you did to my parents and to this kingdom", I said angrily. Mason c****d his head," umm.. yeah that's not gonna happen".Then he shouted out, "GISEBELLE COME BEFORE ME AT ONCE". Then out of black smoke a witch appeared. She wore a dark cloak, had long black hair, and had eyes that looked like she was from hell. She was wearing black eyeliner and black lipstick. She had this dark aura that was swirling all around her. She must be a dark witch, Sapphire thought. "hmm you called boss?", said the witch. Her voice sounded as cold as ice. "Imprison the princess, we are bringing her with us", Mason said. "Why?", the witch asked? "Well, if I'm going to start a new kingdom where I reign supreme, I'm going to need a Queen, and since Sapphira is now the last of the royal blood line she is gonna be my wife", said Mason with an evil smirk on his face. I was completely numb. I wasn't gonna be this man's wife. No way in hell is that happening. The man who killed my parents and destroyed this kingdom NO F**KING way, I thought. I looked at him," I will NEVER BE YOURS YOU SICK BASTARD", I yelled, though gritted teeth. "Oh my darling princess, you don't have a choice in the matter. We will marry and you will give us strong, healthy babies. Given your royal and all", said Mason. Then the witch spoke up chuckling when she said," Oh my dear Mason, she is so much more than that"? Oh s**t did the witch know I was a sapphire dragon? This is not good, I have to get out of here, I thought. Trying to show no emotions that I knew anything. "What do you mean she is more"?, asked Mason. "I mean she's..." Then all of a sudden a bright light appeared and Raphtalia, my nanny and guardian appeared. Grabbed my hand and we disappeared in the bright light. All I heard as we left was the witch's scream. We teleported to my room, where I was surprised that it hadn't burned up in the fire yet. As if reading my thoughts, Raphtalia said "I have put up a barrier around this room so no fire will come". "Oh okay", I said. "I want you to pack only the essentials, we are getting out of here", said Raphtalia. Raphtalia Rosewater, age ,I don't even know? She has been my nanny and guardian since the day I was born. She is my mother's closest friend. Basically, my mom saved her life from a bunch of rogue dark witches a long time ago. My mother was on a short scenery trip. She would have asked my father (the prince at the time) to come along, but he was busy with royal duties.She didn't bring any guards with her back, then my mother was tough as nails and she could take care of herself. Well, according to my mother, she found Raphtalia the last survivor of a light witches witch's coven. Raphtalia looked like my age at the time, but apparently when they talked she was the same age as my mother. My mom asked if she had a home to go back to. Raphtalia said no, that this place was the only home she had and knew. According to Raphtalia, some dark witches came, destroying the whole coven. Her folks locked her in a cellar and put a concealment spell and protection spell over it and went to defend the village. Raphtalia couldn't open the door no matter how hard she tried. After around an hour or so, she was able to open it. That meant two things: that the battle was over and her parents released the spells on the door, or her parents were dead. She found out it was her second guess. She explained all of what happened to my mother. So my mom told her she could come back to the place and stay with her and her husband. My dad was the prince at the time. Then, 3 years later, both my grandparents died in a rogue attack while traveling to the Lycan Kingdom to talk about their treaty between Lycans and dragons. My father felt the link and everyone in the dragon kingdom felt the link between the King and Queen broken, and knew that the King and Queen had died. My father couldn't believe it. My father contacted the Lycan king and told him what had happened. The Lycan king and his men went to search and found my grandparents' dead bodies right by the borders close to the mountain ridge (Yes the Lycan Kingdom is deep in a forest on a mountain ridge looking over the entire Lycan Kingdom). Both my father and the Lycan King suspect them to be witches. Only witches could pass by their borders undetected, but it didn't make sense why the witches would kill the King and Queen of dragons and my parents couldn't figure out why. So, a week later, my dad and mom took the throne and became the new King and Queen of Dragons. He promoted Mason to be his chief advisor and my mom had Raphtalia to be a guardian of the kingdom until I came along. Then she was made to be my personal body guard and godmother. Raphtalia and I packed up only the Raphtalia clothes, a photo of my parents,a necklace with a sapphire stone in the middle. Given to me after my 16th birthday by my mother that i have never worn because I didn't want to lose it. Raphtalia packed up her potions, magical books, clothes, and money that looked like it was from the human realm and gold, I guess, from our treasure room. She put it all in. In one suitcase. I looked at her confused, how in the world she got all that stuff in one suitcase. She just smiled and said, "magical suitcase dear"."Oh!" I said . Then I asked her "I saw you put a lot of human money and gold in your magic suitcase. Are we going to the human realm?' I asked. (Raphtalia) "Yes we are princess, we will be safe there". "Wait, is that why my father taught me about stuff about the human world I should know, like currency, culture, jobs/careers, and how democracy/politics work in the human realm"? I ask? Raphtalia shook her head. Then she said "Your parents wanted you well verse just in case something happened like it is now. So you would have a place where no one would be able to find you and that you would be able to start a new life. I mean, in the beginning it was just talk, but your father was hearing rumours of someone trying to overthrow the king and queen. He just didn't know who. I would never have imagined that it would be his advisor/closest friend". "Yeah me neither", Sapphire said softly looking down. Raphtalia closed her suitcase and put it on the ground, and walked up to her goddaughter and grabbed both of her hands. (Raphtalia) "Sweetheart, i'm so sorry that your parents are gone. They were the best people i knew. They took me in, gave me a home, food and made me part of your family. We will defeat Mason someday, but not right now. He has too many people in his corner, and i don't know who we can trust", she said with tears in her eyes. I shook my head and grabbed her for a hug. We were like that for 10 seconds, and then we realized we were still in a burning castle. The only reason why they were not dead is because of Raphtalia spell. Then as Sapphira was getting her bearings, her dragon spoke to her in her mind, " the human world is where you need to be, there are people there that need you". "What, who needs me in the human realm?" I asked my dragon, but she just retreated into the back of my mind. Raphtalia "Okay Sapphie time to go". Raphtalia then opens a portal to the human realm. Then she said a few words, a bright light shot from out of her hands and the light spread all around the castle. Then she pulled me into the portal and we came out into an alleyway. Raphtalia looked behind her to make sure the portal closed and it did. Then she looked at Sapphie and she had a weird confused look on her face. (Raphtalia) "hey what's wrong?". "My dragon, she just spoke to me for the second time" (first time was after my first shift. She introduced herself as Lilac, then retreated into the back of my mind). (Raphtalia) "Wow! That's amazing what did she say"? (Sapphira) She basically said that i needed to come here because there are some people that need me"? "Who"? asked Raphtalia.(Sapphira) "I don't know?" (Raphtalia) "Hey we will figure it out?" Then she grabbed my hand and we started to walk out of the alleyway to reach the main streets, but I stopped to ask her a question, "hey what was that spell that you just use"? (Raphtalia) That spell I put all of Mason men and the dark witch into suspended animation". (Sapphira) "But wait, what about our people"? (Raphtalia) "I check sweetheart none of our people survived" (Sapphire) "No..No.No", she said as she started to cry (Raphtalia) "I'm so so sorry sweetheart. But Mason, the dark witch and all his men will be there for a long while. That spell not only put out the fire completely but also put them in suspended animation for 10 years". I looked at her wide-eyed "10 years", I whispered, shouted, not wanting to attract the attention of anyone. Suddenly, before she could answer, a bunch of guys came into the alleyway kickin' metal cans and saw us. The one that looked like the leader of the group " Well, well, well, look at what we have here boys? Two young ladies walking in the alleyway all alone". We tried to get away but we were blocked on both sides. I couldn't change into my dragon form. It wouldn't fit in this small space and i don't know what Raphtalia was able to do, even though she was a very powerful light witch. One of the boys licked his lips and looked at me with lust and desire and I felt so disgusted that I wanted to vomit. Raphtalia tried to take my hand to run away but one of the boys grabbed her hand and held her, while she was trying to break free. The leader touched my shoulder and i tried to move, but she grabbed on to my shoulders to hold me still and was on the verge of kissing me. Was this it, I thought? I wanted my first kiss to be with my mate, not with this perv. He was getting in close and I tried to move and scream.. Then I woke up in a cold sweat. In my luxurious king-sized bed with satin dark blue sheets, breathing heavily. I haven't had that nightmare in awhile, I thought. Sapphira Age 24 It's been 8 years since I had to leave the only home I have ever known, and move to the human world with Raphtalia. 8 years since the dragon kingdom was burned to the ground I guess I should explain to you what has happened in those 8 years? How a former dragon princess and a powerful light witch survived in this world, the human world!
