Galen called Jessie Friday afternoon, as promised, with an update on the proposal. He still had a few quotes outstanding on some of the more specialty items but expected those in by the end of Monday, at the latest. So they set a date and time to meet the following week.
For once, since Jessie’s arrival, Michael was excited about something else when Galen came home. Namely, the two-day police dog exhibition happening in Rela over the weekend. The event was held jointly by the various police forces in the area in which K-9 handlers participated in a friendly competition to showcase their dog partners’ training and skills.
