Inner War
Even though I had a smile on my face, my ego was bruised by the audacity Lily had to speak to me in that manner in the presence of many people.
I'm used to speaking while everyone else shrinks, but she never seems to shrink.
It plays with my mind, as I still can't resist the strong ethereal scent that fills my lungs. It's as though my wolf longs for her but hopes to have her crushed by my bare hands.
