The wolf started to move away and my heart skipped a beat. What if I was wrong? Somehow I knew I wasn't wrong though. I heard the strange noise, almost like a crunching sound, and knew Jon had shifted.  "You okay?" He asked, a look of concern on his face. I nodded. I couldn't speak. I had so many things I wanted to say and yet had nothing to say at all. What could I say? Hey, me again. How many family members died because of me today? How could I tell him he was right all along? I had no place here.   "I am fine." I said. I stood up, leaving my hiding place. "Carrie and Gabriel are down there!" I said, pointing. Jon chuckled.  "David was dead seconds after you left that walk-in. Carrie killed him, quicker than he deserved." Jon said, making me feel foolish. Anger welled up inside of me.
