We took Jon's old truck to the pack hospital. Part of me had wanted to take my car but I knew that once we were outside the city, Jon's tired old truck wouldn't seem so out of place. By the time we hit the country roads, Jon's truck was the last thing on my mind. It was winter now. It was cold and a layer of frost was covering the ground this morning.
