Dana yawned but kept gathering ingredients the candies she had to get made. The filling had to be done and set to chill today or there was no way she’d get this order ready on time. “You look like you could have used more sleep,” Sean said from where he was scooping cake batter into lined cupcake tins on the other end of the counter she was using to line up the things she would need. Butter, nuts, cream cheese, flavoring, she was missing something but wasn’t sure what it was. “I probably could have.” She didn’t entirely ignore him but didn’t give him the details he was fishing for as she pulled down the book that had the recipe for these candies so she could check the ingredients.
