Maverick pulled the van into a parking space with a decent view of the house he was supposed to be watching and parked it. He put the specially designed sunshade in the windshield then got out and walked away from the van. After circling the block, he approached the van from the far side, keeping the vehicle between him and the location so he wouldn’t be seen, opened the rear door and climbed inside.
