Dana made it home with enough time to change, comb her hair and put on a little make up before a knock sounded on her door. She grabbed her bag and went to the door, checking through the peep hole to make sure it was Maverick before opening the door. He stood framed in the doorway, hair wind-blown, in a clean white t-shirt and dark jeans. He looked yummy enough to lick like a lollipop. Dana blinked and shook her head a moment wondering where the thought had come from, then realized she was being rude. “You look great.” She smiled. “I’m ready whenever you are.” “Good. Come on.
