As they walked back out to the motorcycle for the ride Maverick had suggested, Dana couldn’t help but be glad she’d pushed her apprehension about riding a motorcycle out of her mind. After she’d gotten past that, she had enjoyed the ride. When Maverick suggested a longer ride after they ate, her stomach dipped and flipped, not from nerves but excitement. For just a moment she’d wondered if going up the mountain in the dark was a good idea then she decided she didn’t care. It sounded like fun, especially with Maverick, so she’d agreed.
