Alice POV
Final Decision
"Zadkiel and Gabriel, thank you for coming down to earth again, thank you for hering my call. I have valued both of your willingsness to allow me my solitude to ponder these last few days, it has really helped me put things in perspective. I know in my heart that you're both very eager and very terrified to know what my decision is. Thats why I won't be dragging it out any longer, I owe it to both you and myself to declare my decision." I took a deep breath and exhaled " Gabriel, Zadkiel, I choose both of you. I have given it tremendous amounts of thoughts and I can feel it in every fiber of my being that I need to be with both of you, we need to be three. Will you accept my decision?" I held my breath, anxious that my declaration might start a terrible fight between them or worse, that they would have decided by now that I might not be woth it after all.
Three
The silence that followed my words was thick and charged. I watched their faces closely, Gabriel's expression softened with a mix of relief and joy, while Zadkiel's eyes flickered with a storm of emotions. I knew this was not a decision either of them had anticipated, and the uncertainty of their reactions made my heart race even faster.
Gabriel was the first to speak, his voice gentle but firm. "Alice, do you understand what you're asking?" he said. "This isn't just about us. It's about you too. It's about how you will navigate this relationship, the challenges it will bring."
I nodded, meeting his gaze steadily. "I know it won't be easy. But I believe in this. I believe in us. I can’t imagine my life without either of you."
Gabriel reached out and took my hand in his, his touch warm and reassuring. "Then we will make this work," he said, his eyes full of conviction. "We will find a way."
Zadkiel stepped forward, and I turned to face him. His eyes were burning with an intensity that made my breath catch. "Alice, you have no idea how much I want this. How much I want you. But sharing... this is new territory for me."
I placed my other hand on his chest, feeling the steady beat of his heart. "Zadkiel, I need both of you. You both complete me in ways I can’t explain. I believe we can make this work if we try."
Zadkiel covered my hand with his, his touch surprisingly gentle. "For you, Alice, I would do anything. Even this."
Relief flooded through me as I saw the determination in their eyes. They were willing to try, for me, for us. We stood there, the three of us, bound by a connection that was both daunting and exhilarating. The three of us stood close and comfortable, in a tender, firm and beyond words, loving a full embrace. Now the decision was made, and declared, we had all agreed to be one.
I pulled back from Gabriel and Zadkiel slightly to keep eye contact with voth of them, "Gabriel if you and Zadkiel don't mind I would like to hear more about each of you, alone, without the other. Theres so much I still dont know, it feels like I've known you forever in my heart, but my mind needs to get to know you seperately, is that okay?".
One at a time
Gabriel looked over at Zadkiel to see how he would react to my request before answering it " Yes Alice, to me thats fine, I can understand your need to know some level of basics about both of us " Zadkiel chimed in " Fine. But I insist on getting you alone first! You are my Queen now and I though I accept our agreement and relationship, I demand only this".
I sighed heavily, but couldn't help but form a small smile in the corners of my mouth, of course he would demand such a thing, I shouldn't be so surprised. " Very well Zadkiel, you and I will have alone time first. Gabriel it doesn't mean that you mean any less to me, please remember that, but we do have to find ways to make this work and I promise you that you'll get every bit as much of me as Zadkiel does".
Gabriel nodded in agreement, his eyes betraying a small hint of jealousy that his younger brother had played "dibs" on Alice, but as noble and stoic as he was he didn't speak ill of anyone or anything, he simply just took off up at the sky. Leaving me and Zadkiel to get aquainted with each other.
