The waiting room of Dr. Patel's office was filled with the soft murmur of conversation and the occasional rustle of magazine pages. Emma sat next to Liam, her leg bouncing nervously as she glanced at the clock for what felt like the hundredth time. "Relax, Em," Liam said softly, placing a calming hand on her knee. "Everything's going to be fine." Emma took a deep breath, trying to quell the butterflies in her stomach. "I know, I know. I just... I want everything to be perfect, you know?"
