JENNIE'S POV "We don't need to be friends because we are already friends. Nothing change that much. We are still the students' that hangouts a lot and doing sleepovers, right Lisa?" I said smiling at her while my fingers are tapping the table.   Lisa looks really tense this time, it is like she's reading what's inside of my mind. Well, good luck to her. I hope she decodes what's inside my head.   "That's great! I think we should have dinner tonight." Rosé blurted out of nowhere.   I know Rosé and my Chu are getting back together but dinner with them, especially with Lisa, is the last thing I want to do.   "That's a brilliant idea, daughter. At least you guys could catch up. Six years is a long time." Chaeng's father agreed so did the other three men nods in agreement.   "B-ut .." Lisa tried to speak but her father cuts her off. "Free your night, Lisa. It's just dinner. Like a girls' night out, maybe? The four of you go somewhere like you guys used to do." Her father suggested.   "We have a relative who owns a bar here in Seoul. It is just near to your school, Mr. Manoban. Jisoo's auntie owns that bar. You can go there. Everything you order is all on me." Jisoo's father said. Jisoo and I looked at each other. Not at that bar. Damn. That's the place where everything started. Now we're going back.   "I don't really feel go—" again, Lisa was cut off. "We're going, Lisa! That would be fun!" Rosé said and the enthusiasm in her face is so visible.   LISA'S POV "B-ut .." My father suggested.   "We have a relative who owns a bar here in Seoul. It is just near to your school, Mr. Manoban. Jisoo's auntie owns that bar. You can go there. Everything you order is all on me." Jisoo's father said.   Jisoo and Jennie looked at each other. Why they wouldn't right? That place is where everything started. I really don't want to go back there. It brings back old memories and feelings and everything that I don't want to remember.   "I don't really feel go—" again, I was cut off. Does my opinion here even matters? I rolled my eyes in annoyance. "We're going, Lisa! That would be fun!" Rosé said and the enthusiasm in her face is so visible. "It's like you are leaving me with a choice," I said to them but they look like they don't care at all.   I saw Jennie looking at me but when I look at her to meet her gaze she diverted her gaze to Jisoo who is talking too much right now. Planning what we should do later at night together with Rosé my best friend who seems pretty excited about what is going to happen. Is this 'all against me'?   I can't with these people.   But do I have any choice? Oh here's a thing. I don't. Damn. My phone suddenly rings and I picked it up. It's Megan. Thank God she called me. I really need to get out of this room.   "Excuse me." I said and I stood up and went to the corner of the room since my father looked at me saying 'make it faster'.   "Hi, baby." I greeted her. "I miss you." She said sweetly. "Oh. That's sweet of you. I miss you too." I said to her. "Can we go out tonight? I really do miss you." She said with her sad cute voice. "I'm afraid that I can't. I have a meeting tonight with some clients and my father won't let me ditch them." I said honestly to her.   Megan sighs from the other line. "You are always busy with your clients." She said emotionless.   "It's not like that, okay. I'm really sorry." I'm trying to please her. "Lisa." My father called me. That's my cue to go back to the table. "I'll make it up to you okay? I'm really sorry." I said to her but she hung up the phone after saying "Okay."   Now I'm screwed.   "Who is that? You are in the middle of the meeting." My father said strictly. "That was Megan dad." I answered him. "Silent your phone when you are in the meeting, I don't care if that's your girlfriend or what. When you are in the middle of the meeting you have to be professional, Lisa." He said to me. My father is a very strict man when it comes to business. He takes everything seriously but he is a good father to me. Just a busy one.   He then taps my shoulder to make sure he is not angry at me.   "So the plan is we are all going to meet in the bar and dad already called my aunt to reserve us a luxury room for the four of us to have the fun of course. But Rosé and I will be there together so you don't need to fetch her, Long-legged Lisa." Jisoo explained it more to me.   "Why are you going together?" I asked Rosé "Because Jisoo and I decided to have time together, perhaps? Is that a problem for you?" Rosé asked me like she's already blackmailing me. "Not a problem at all." I said. "Guess we'll see each other later at the bar. This meeting is adjourned." I said and everyone stands up and said goodbye to each other.   Our fathers have their own party because they want to be left in the conference room where Jennie, Jisoo, Rosé and I exited the room.   I am the first one to walk and said goodbye to them. They all bowed their heads so do I and I started walking away.   JENNIE'S POV Lisa said goodbye to us and started to walk away from me and the couple. I can't believe that we are going to hang out later. Like what we used to do before. Before it was fun, exciting and every positive emotion are there. But now it feels different. It really is.   "The two of you." I said and look at Jisoo and Rosé "What are you planning." I added.   I know they are cooking something for me and Lisa. I can feel it. Looks like they already plot everything out. The two girls look at each other. No one wants to talk first. "Alright, speak now." I said trying to make them speak.   "I just want our friendship back." Jisoo murmured. She was telling the truth. Jisoo then lowered her head. "Sorry, Unnie. I know we are kind of out of line when we are trying to push this thing out but it won't hurt to at least give it a try?" Rosé speaks up. "I understand, but if this won't work. It needs to stop, okay? I will let this one slipped." I said to them. "I know you still want to be at least friends with her, Unnie. I could feel it." Rosé told me. I just smiled at her. I was the second one to say goodbye to them. We separated our ways. While I was driving back to the hotel, I remembered Lisa was talking to her girlfriend.   I only saw her new girl once. I wanted to be in my room just to get some more sleep and think about what to wear later.   LISA'S POV It is already 7:30 in the evening; I am almost done in fixing myself. I texted Megan where I am going tonight. She's still mad at me.   She did not even reply to my message.   8:00 PM is our call time and I am already at the bar at 7:55 PM, not too early. I'm just doing this for my father. Just for him...   I walked inside the bar and a familiar face of a woman greeted me. She's Jisoo's aunt, how can I forget her. She told me where to go. I went upstairs and open the door of our luxury room. The door opened and it reveals one woman sitting. It was Jennie   "You are early." I said. "Yeah" she answered plainly. "Where are the two?" I asked. "I don't know. Been contacting Jisoo since I got here but she's not answering my calls." She answered me with her poker face.   Everything feels uncomfortable. "Maybe they are on their way." I told her. Jennie was sitting on the left side of the couch while I sat on the other side. We have a very big space between us.   No one dares to talk. I kept on looking at my phone and fidgeting it. It is already 8:15 PM and they are not here yet. Something is fishy. I hope they did not plan this.   I was going to call Chaeng but then my phone rings and it was her. Wow. "Where are you?" I said immediately as I answered my phone. "Chill, Lisa. We are on our way. Is Jennie already there? We are stuck in traffic. But we'll get there maybe 8:30?" Rosé said. I am being impatient this time. "Can you at least make it faster? I don't like to wait here." I sigh "Especially alone with her." I whisper my last sentence. "I know, we'll be there soon okay? Just be comfortable." She said then hung up the phone. What the f**k? Comfortable? How???   "Where are they?" Jennie asked me. "A-h they stuck in traffic. But she said they are almost here." I said plainly. Damn, why am I getting nervous? "Lisa." She called me. This time her voice is soft. "Hmmm?" I hummed as a response. Jennie faced me this time and I did the same. "I know this is awkward and all but we both know that we are doing this for the company. I hope we don't let our past issues .. you know .. " she said then I cut her off. "I know. I also came here for business. Let's be platonic." I told her. "That's better." She said and smiled at me. "Jisoo and Rosé are getting back together." I told her. I hate the silence between us so I need to create a topic that will interest both of us. "Yeah, Jisoo really looks sad when we saw Rosé with a guy at the restaurant but after that night she came back to our hotel room with a big smile on her face." Jennie showed her gummy smile while telling a story about Jisoo.   She's still beautiful. She really is.   "That was Chanyeol. I was also shocked when she told me that she's going to a date with a man that doesn't pick by her parents." I laughed while telling a story. "She's going on a blind date that arranged by her parents?" Jennie said in disbelief. "Yeah, she was. Her parents started to arrange dates for her since they broke up, Rosé was a mess back then, broken and fragile just like me." I look at her and she's eyeing me, listening to me. I realized what I told her was kinda revelation so I need to have a follow-up sentence to bring us back to the original topic. "But it only takes Jisoo to bring back her happiness. I am really happy for both of them." I added immediately.   Jennie's eyes are now sad. She's thinking but I don't know exactly what is inside of her head.
