JENNIE'S POV
Jisoo and I are on our way to Rosé's place. Jisoo is being restless since this morning; this is not the first time she will be at Rosé's place? What's bothering her?
"Chu, what's wrong? Something bothering you?" I asked her but she's not responding at all. What's going on? I'm getting worried so I shake her while her hands are on the steering wheel to get her attention.
"Wh-what?" she said, finally I got her attention.
"You look nervous and uneasy what's the matter?" I asked her again.
"Her parents will be there." She said. I wonder why is she being affected they are legal.
"And so?" I said confusedly.
Jisoo then stops the car and deep heavily. "You are getting me nervous Unnie." I told her honestly.
"I'm going to propose to her." She finally said.
"Y-you what?" I asked in disbelief. "You mean you are going to propose to her tonight???" I added not really believing what I just heard from her.
Jisoo nods her head repeatedly. "Oh my God, Jisoo, why didn't you tell me?" I asked her. "My girl is going to marry her girl. Oh my God, I can't believe this." I said happily as I hug her.
"Is it okay?" she asked me worriedly.
"Yes, of course, why are you asking that?" I asked her back.
"Because .. Lisa and Megan are already engaged and you .. I mean I was planning this since then but Megan and Lisa did that first which is really unexpected. I really want to be with Rosé for my whole damn life and you know that right?" She explained to me while her eyes are teary.
"Jisoo-unnie I am really happy for you. And don't mind me okay? Your happiness is my happiness. Do you know already how are you going to do this?" I asked excitedly.
"Yes, I planned it all out. Sorry if I didn't tell you. I want to surprise everyone." She chuckles.
"It is fine Unnie. Hey, let's change seats. I'll be the one to drive so you could take rest and time to think about how you are going to execute your proposal. Make her the happiest girl, okay? I'm so proud of you Unnie." I told her and we switch our seats.
While I am driving Jisoo keeps on saying her proposal to Rosé, she's practicing really hard. We are all adults now, we could settle if we want. We have a good life, we have the job we want, we're all living in a cozy and nice place, we are already where we want to be.
Jisoo is going to propose to Rosé this New Year, that's a Yes already for sure. Sooner or later they are going to pick the date of their wedding.
Same as Lisa and Megan ..
"We're here." I said to Jisoo who is really nervous and her hands are really cold.
"Hey, calm down. Breathe okay? You can do this." I cheered her and she hugs me.
"Thank you, Jendeukie." She said and I smiled.
I saw Lisa's car is already here. As we walk to the door I was the one who rings the doorbell because Jisoo is still in her own world. I can't blame her tho she's really nervous.
When the door opens I saw a tall girl wearing a very beautiful dress that compliments her own beauty.
"Hi." She greeted us and I just smiled at her. She noticed something is off with Jisoo.
"Hey you okay?" she asked. Jisoo did not respond so I was the one who did. "She's fine, she's just a bit off. Maybe because of her chicken skewers." I lied to her and Lisa smiled at me.
Damn that smile. If you are not yet engaged I'm gonna taste that s**t. Oh f**k, what am I thinking? Jennie, stop thinking weird things, will you?
Jisoo and Rosé greeted and hugs each other. Jisoo fronts her act now and she's doing fine. She then goes to Rosé's parents to give her presents to them and greeted them also.
"Where's Kai?" Lisa asked me while I am fidgeting my phone on the couch.
"Where's Megan?" I asked her back.
"She's not coming, she's with her family right now." She answered me but I did not look at her. Everyone except us is already in the garden where we will celebrate New Year's Eve.
"How are you?" she asked again. Why is she keeps on asking?
"I'm fine. Thanks" I said briefly and pretending I am doing something in my phone just to make her go away but she didn't.
"Scrolling and scrolling on your phone won't make me go away." She then said. Is she a mind reader now???
I look up at her and she's already in front of me. "What?" I asked while my brows are furrowed. I am still embarrassed about what I did on Christmas and the fact that she's getting married really giving me heartbreak.
"Can we talk?" she said. "About what happened last time." She added. I gulp at her sentence. This is why I don't want to see her tonight.
"I think we're done talking." I shrugged and stood up from the couch.
"Walking away. That's your defense mechanism as always." She said to me. New Year is already coming in any minute and we're here talking past tense again. I look at her showing, not my best mood but when I was going to talk...
"Guys, gather now, here!" Rosé called us. Thank God the church girl is saving me from a fight.

As we are all seated in the garden area where the foods are already placed nicely in the table, the seating arrangement is like this. Rosé's father, Rosé's mother, Alice, Rosé, Jisoo, Me and Lisa.
"Let's celebrate this New Year with love in our hearts!" Her father said and he raises his glass of wine so we did.
"Cheers! Happy New Year!" everyone said happily while raising our glasses.
Then the fireworks started to lights up the sky.
"Happy New Yeeeaaaaar!" Everyone is yelling while standing and looking at the fireworks. I look at Jisoo and then she smiled at me. She's already holding the velvet box. Rosé is amazed by watching the fireworks.
Her father and mother are lighting the other fireworks.
"They are so beautiful." I murmured then I realized someone is watching me as I watch them.
"Happy New Year," Lisa mumbled.
"Happy New Year, Lisa." I greeted her back.
When I look back at Jisoo and Rosé, Jisoo is already kneeling down on her. Rosé's parents were surprised and also her sister. Even I know she's going to do this it was really surprisingly sweet.
"Park Chaeyoung! Remember when I told you that I only want you in my life? Six years ago we live far from each other and now we find our way to come back. I am really happy to celebrate this New Year with you and the other years that are coming, I am claiming it." Jisoo chuckles. "Past years were really tough for everybody. But this year, let's start this year with all the love in our hearts like what your father said. I didn't create any proposal stuff because I want this to be natural. Park Chaeyoung, will you be my chipmunk for the rest of my life and be the woman I will wake up with? Roseanne, will you marry this little creature in front of you now? Because she's really madly in love with you and she's willing to do everything for you." Jisoo's speech was really unexpected. Everyone is in tears including me. Rosé has been in tears since the first sentence. Her parents are hugging each other and they look really happy to see their girl this happy the same as Alice her sister who's sobbing happily.
Jisoo then put out the velvet box and open it and she asked Rosé again who's really speechless this time. "Will you marry me, baby?" Jisoo said with her teary eyes. Rosé then hugs her and saying "Yes" a couple of times. We all clap in happiness and all the fireworks suddenly bring light like it wasn't evening at all.
"They are destined," Lisa said softly while crying.
Yes, they might destine for each other but it wasn't the destiny that brings them back. It was their love for each other, Lisa. I look at her while Lisa is watching the newly engaged couple hugging and kissing.
I was really happy seeing my friends like that. As everyone looks really happy too I decided to go to the bathroom. I did not know that Lisa followed me there.
"Jennie." She called me.
"Wh-what are you doing here? Are you going to use the bathroom too?" I asked her.
"No.," she said.
"Back at Christmas, I saw you and Kai kissing." She said and I was shocked. Oh, she saw us? But why it affects her? She's getting married did she forget that??
"I think I can kiss anyone I like I'm single and as long as they are single too," I said chuckling.
"I understand, are you guys together now?" she said as she leans to the wall.
"No," I answered her.
LISA'S POV
"No." she answered me. I don't know but I feel relieved.
"So when's the wedding?" she asked me an out of nowhere question.
"A-ah. We haven't talked about it yet." I answered her.
"Why is that?" Jennie asked me.
"I don't know maybe we don't want to rush things," I said to her.
"Ah, I see," Jennie said and she's about to go inside the bathroom now.
"Is it true?" I said and she was stopped from walking. "Do you still feel the same?" I asked her.
"Does it matter?" she asked me furiously.
"Cause I couldn't grasp the reason for your question." She told me.
"I just want to know," I said to her.
"For what? For future use?" she chuckles. " Lisa, can we just forget that we were once in love with each other? Because—" I cut her off.
"We are still in love with each other," I told her rephrasing her sentence. I don't know what exactly I'm doing right now.
Jennie gave me a deep sigh. "What is this all about, Lisa?" she faced me. I look at her eyes, the sorrow is there. She's just being her, holding into her emotions making people see that she's tough even if she's breaking inside.
I was going to say something when my phone rings. "You better answer that. That's must be your fiancée." She told me and then walks away and went inside the bathroom.
I am still in love with you, Jennie.
