A few minutes after Maria walked to the back of the class, the professor walked in. He was tall, with a lean frame and handsome in a nerdy way and he seemed quite young. “Good afternoon students, I see we have an extra student today,” The professor said, as he looked around the classroom.
Suddenly a male student sitting in the front row stood up with his bag and started towards the door. “Are you skipping class or dropping?” The professor asked.
The guy shook his head, “No. I’m not in this class” He then turned towards a girl in the front row and said, “I’ll see you later,” then walked out of the room.
“Ok. Well, you in the back standing up, can have this seat,” the professor said.
