Roux is just staring at me as if he is reading me.. as if he doesn’t believe what I have said.
He then shook his head and brushed his hair using his fingers.
“You are not in love with him.” He exclaimed.
I pursed my lips. Is he that confident in the love that I have for him?
I lifted my head and look straight into his eyes.
“So?” I raised my eyebrows.
“Maybe I'm not..but that doesn’t matter. I am happy with him, so who knows?” I shrugged. “One day I might just fall for him.” It is like I am saying it more to myself than to him.
His lips parted. Then his jaw clenched and he looked away.
I made him speechless.
“Besides..I like him. I like Callahan so there is a good chance that I will really fall in love with him, just in a matter of time.” I whispered and looked down.
