Chapter 13. Date

*Lucy's POV*

' Hello, old friend.' I told Rowena once she came back to the office. She wasn't surprised to see me because she just hired Rea and was already expecting me.

Her hair still pisses me off like the first time I saw her, red curls going in all directions... Looks like damn hay on her head. Although she looks pretty decent this time, she changed her eye color to brown, her face looks the same, just a little bit younger, like thirty or something like that, has jeans on and a light blouse that moves around her waist every time she moves... But still, had to leave those fu*ked up hair the way they were eight years ago...

'You need to do something with those hair, they don't fit your appearance..' I told her laughing.

'Good old Lucy, you should be thankful I even left your name, I could've found some Maria or Peppi..'

'Okay okay, tell me, what the hell is going on with Rea, she isn't telling me something..'

' She's changing... A bit faster now that she met her mate, as well her wolves should appear to her soon, so if she freaks out you'll need to calm her down...' I nodded.

Of course, I will... I'm her best friend for crying out loud...

' And what to do with that... Jeremy, and why do I feel a slight pull towards him once I'm close?' I asked her.

' Think of it good, and tell me why yourself ? ' She told.

Thought for a moment... Wait... It cant be... Can it?

'Are you f*cking kidding me? How is this even possible?! ' I asked her with a raised voice.

' It's not, because demons have no soul, but.... ' My eyes went wide, oh f*ck I'm in deep trouble if he digs...

' F*ck, so what you say is, that my human, Lucy Brais, was Jeremy's first mate, or am I wrong, please tell me that I'm.'

' I'm sorry Lucy, but this is true... ' She told not even the slightest bit concerned.

'So what am I supposed to do now, are you sure she must've died anyway?! ' I questioned her.

'What well, tell me what the hell did you do!'

'I happened to help a little bit with her going to heaven... Or hell.. Or whatever humans go after death.' She said.

'Oh shit... You must be fu*king kidding me...'

'Calm down Lucy ,you're a demon ,don't forget that these emotions are not useful for you.' She said still calm.

' You know that once Jeremy finds out, he'll come for you, and me.. What the f*ck gonna happen with me, we have a deal and I must live.'

'If I die before my at least eighties birthday, I'll f*cking hunt you down, trust me on that.' I threatened her.

'Calm down, no one gonna kill you, deal is a deal, although they may come after me once the truth is out..'

'As long as it's not me, I'm good, by the way, should I distance from him or what to do with that mateless dude? .'

'It's up to you, just know one that once he finds out you will be the last person he'll want to see, so don't start something that might end up hurting you... Or do it , I don't know what kinks in hell you had..' She said.

This bit*h... I'm so pissed at the moment. If only I would have my sword, she would already be headless.

I have no damn idea what to do next. See him and pretend I don't know s**t, or go to him and tell the damn truth, but then I'll have to tell about Rea and that I can't do. So it appears that I'm not going to say s**t and try to keep my distance...

' Rowena , you do know that after it's out , I mean everything , there might be a lot of them after you? Do you even have a plan?' I asked her.

' Yes ,Lucy , I do, I began getting ready twenty years ago...' She told kind of pissed at me questioning her.

' How could you know ,that far in the past of what's to come after twenty years? A witch most of the time can see only five years maximum, from what I heard from those witches that I tortured in hell??' I questioned her.

' Lucy ,let me ask you something, what do you know about me?'

I don't know how to answer that .... I... I guess nothing, only that she is a witch.

' Exactly , you see , you know nothing about me , and those that you tortured weren't careful enough of their life, that's why they died before perfecting their abilities..' She said, once noticed that I have no idea.

' So tell me? Or is it a secret that you can't speak of again...?' I asked her.

' No it's not , you curious demon ,but that's a story for next time, now, go before someone who shouldn't have saw you here...' She said laughing.

' Bye witch.'

' Bye demon.' We both laughed, and I left...

Headed back to the apartment.

* Rea's POV*

Alice is such a sweetheart, she was with me the whole day, teaching me how to do things faster and without flaws, Rowena was also satisfied that I showed up and did my job.

'Thank you Alice ,with you, the day went so fast , I think next time I'll be able to do everything alone.' I told her.

' No worries Rea, when I'm here you can ask anything you have questions about, and if I'm not ,just go to Rowena , she is always here.'

' Okay, thanks.'

'And no need to thank , I'm just helping you to get used to your new job.' She added.

We finished cleaning the tables, said goodbye to Rowena, and left.

Once I left the building, William was already there, when he saw me he went out of the car.

'Hey ,how was your day?' He asked.

' Hey it was alright, and I told you it wasn't necessary.' I told him.

' Rea ,just sit and enjoy that someone cares for you.' He told while holding the car door open for me.

Oh, just stop it, you know it won't last long, it's not like that we meet one person and it's forever.

' Thanks .'

He brought me home.

'Can we move the date ?' I asked him once the car stopped.

'Why ?' He asked with a sad grimace on his face.

Yes, why... Because I'm afraid.

' I don't know ,just that a first date shouldn't be at home.' I told him, afraid of his reaction.

'Okay ,we can move it to couple days from now, but, I'm sorry ,if I'm too fast with making decisions ,it's just that, I told my parents already about you ,and they wanna see you ...' My eyes went wide in shock.

'What?! Why?! I don't even know if it gonna work out..' I told him, still shocked.

What is going on with this guy, well, yeah, he seems like the perfect one, but this is real life, not some kind of a fairy-tale ...

' You already have me Rea ,so why wait?' He asked, looking me in the eyes.

' Listen , Rea ,can I come to your place , we can speak inside , because I see you are cold..' He told after few moments of silence.

I mean, yes, I do feel kind of cold, but I'm too distracted at the moment, so I don't care, but if he wants, we can go inside. I don't know why, but I trust him with all my heart since I saw him in that cinema...

' Okay, you can park your car in the driveway , and I'll wait inside.' He nodded with a smile.

I went in, quickly put my bag in the room, and went to the kitchen to make something to drink.

Great, Lucy is still not at home so it will be only us... Is it good or bad? I still don't know.

Heard the door opening.

'I'm in the kitchen.' I told, he came after few moments, damn ...

'Tea , coffee? ' I asked him.

' Tea will do .' he said while sitting on a chair in the kitchen. I nodded.

' Su, uhm... tell me what you didn't finished outside.' I said.

' From the moment I saw you in that cinema , I knew we're meant to be...' He started.

' And why do you think so?' I asked him.

' I don't know , I just feel like it.' He said.

What the hell? He's not saying something.. How do I know? I'm not sure.

' No , it's not that , I feel like you are not saying something.' His eyes went wide for a moment.

' And how do you feel that. ' he asked.

' I.. '

' Yes, you see , we're meant to be .' He said smiling with the most charming grimace possible.

' Why does it sound so confusing...' I told him more like speaking with myself than him.

'There is nothing confusing.. Look .' He told standing from the chair and coming closer to me.

' What..' I couldn't finish when he lifted me to sit on the table, being in between my legs. He then took my hand and started making circles on the inside of my palm.

' What do you feel ?' He asked.

' I.. I feel.. Sparks ?' He smiled.

' I do too..' Then, he said, my cheeks started burning.

' And..' I cleared my throat.

' What does that mean?'

He took my other hand in his and looked me in the eyes.

'Princess... It means that we're soulmates..' He said.

' What are sou..' I froze, unable to finish when he released one of my hands and touched my cheek.

' What do you feel now?' He asked.

' Same sparks just stronger..'

'Now.' He touched a small part between my neck and shoulder.

Something exploded in me ... I... I can't even speak.

' You're blushing, it makes you look so beautiful.' He said.

'Well ,hello guys ,did I interrupt something?' I heard someone say, turned, it's Lucy.

' H.. hey Lucy ,no .' I told her coming back from my dizzy state. Once I understood that I'm still sitting on a table and he's standing in between my legs, I pushed him slightly and jumped off so I would stand on the ground.

Cleared my throat.

'So.. how was your day? Will was just going home..' I told turning to him, then turned back to Lucy, straight away noticed a mischievous grimace directed at me...

' I'll let him out ,and then we can speak .' I told gritting my teeth. She nodded and went to sit in the living room. I turned to Will.

'Hey ... um , I'm sorry ,but can we finish the talk next time.' I said.

' Oh yeah ,sure .' He told, looking mischievously at me as well, the same damn grimace Lucy just showed me ...

' Oh.. f*ck I didn't mean that , I meant talking ..' He laughed a little and nodded.

' Okay princess.' He said while going to take his jacket.

' When you start your lectures tomorrow?' He asked.

'Eleven .' I said.

' Okay ,be here at ten thirty , ten if I can get tea ?' He asked.

' If you'll really gonna take me to college ,you can come for tea.' I told him with a small smile.

' Deal .' He said and went out the door.

I turned to go back to the living room where Lucy waits... She gonna question the s**t out of me.

I guess destination f*cked achieved.
