Chapter 12. Studies, job, Will?

 *Rea's POV*

'Good morning.' I said to Lucy out of the kitchen while she was going to the bathroom.

'Hey girl, are you making for one or for two?' She asked playfully.

' Oh babe, of course for two .' I told her laughing.

' Thank youuu! Be right back. ' She said excitedly and ran to the bathroom.

She came back and sat on a chair in the kitchen isle.

' So ,babe , may I ask you something?' 

' Yeah ,sure.' I told while putting a plate of eggs and bacon with pancakes as a side with coffee.

'Thanks , so, what I wanted to ask is , what happened the night before our flight, why you looked like that?'

Oh hell, what to tell...hmm.

'Couldn't sleep.' I told her.

' Nah, there is something else ,spill the beans babe.' 

'Well, I was nervous about the flight ,and what gonna happen with Will when he lives so close ..'

Nope, not telling the most important part. She might think I'm nuts.

She looked at me suspiciously for a moment.

'The flight wasn't so bad... And Will, I think he really likes you, and that it's worth a chance.' She said.

' The flight was hell.' I told her laughing.

' And Will, I like him a lot , but I'm just unsure , you know ,afraid to start something that might end bad...'

' Oh Rea , no need to be afraid ,just enjoy life , you know there is no success without few broken steps.. So even if it won't work you'll stand up again and move on.'

' Thanks babe ' I told her smiling.

' No worries, so , what are the plans for today?' She asked

'Nothing much ,gonna look for a job ,and If I find , start as soon as possible, you?'

' Oh ,not much ,maybe gonna visit a friend that I haven't seen for a long time , my internship here starts only after a week ,so I'll just use this time to rest.'

'You have a friend here? You never told me about that.' I asked her with a raised eyebrow.

' Yeah , It's more like a person I know ,that's all.' She said.

'Oh.. Okay then I'll go get ready and move, can you wash the dishes?'

'Yeah, sure ,good luck finding a job..'

' Thanks.' I told her and went to get ready.

Wow, this city is impressive. All the roads and paths are made out of bricks, big, private houses, so exceptional, closer to center apartment buildings begin to appear, everything looks so... Preserved, coffee shops, restaurants everything is like from sixty years back, well... except people.

I came to this cafe/shop called ''Twisted delights '', and to my success, it has a sign ''hiring'', wroth a try.

Once opened the doors bell rang, it's so welcoming inside, tables everywhere, Woah, this place should be famous or something, because why to have so many tables, then there is a cashier and behind her a massive wall filled with different teas, coffees, and some herbs.

'Hello, I'm here for the hiring sign.'

' Hey, sure, I'll call the owner straight away, wait here for a moment.' A young lady, maybe even my age, told with a slight smile on her face.

She came back with an older woman who had a smile on her face looking for the new employee.

Once she saw me, her eyes widened a bit, then she quickly came back to the confident stance that she had before.

'Hello, I'm here for the jo offer.' I told her smiling.

'Hello, are you looking for a full time or part time position?' She asked.

' I just moved here for studies , and I would like to work as much as possible ,would it be possible to have flexible schedule?'

'We can make it happen , do you have experience as a waitress or with the cash machine?'

'Actually ,yes , I worked as a waitress on my summer holidays for three years in a row ,in the same cafe , as well learned to use the cash machine in there.' I told her smiling.

' That's great , you see Alice ,I told you ,if we wait we can get the right person , I'm glad we didn't post the offer online.' She told to the girl that I came first, Alice.

' I guess you were right.' She told the owner.

' So, what are we waiting for ,let's go to my office to fill the document, and as well , when can you begin?' She asked me.

'As soon as possible.' I told.

'That's even better.'

We went to her small but cozy-looking office, and she offered me a seat.

I signed all the documents needed and went home. I'll start working tomorrow.

*Williams POV

 What the hell was that? 

I know Rea didn't notice me, but for sure did, and as the only witch in this city went out of her office and saw her, her reaction was. Like she already knew Rea? But Rea didn't seem to know her. What in the whole damn world this witch has to do with Rea???

I called the waitress and asked her to bring the owner so I could thank them personally for this great food. 

Of course, it's not for that, but I had to tell something to a human waitress...

The witch came shortly, and I motioned for her to sit.

'So, what brings you here, alpha to be?' She asked.

' How do you know?' I asked her with a raised eyebrow.

' I'm a witch ,I know this and that , as well I heard that our Alpha found his Luna.' She told shrugging her shoulders.

'Yeah ,right , so ,the girl you just hired ,is the Luna to be, I'm still working things out because she doesn't know of her origin, she grew up with people... As well about being my mate, not a word.'

' I knew that as well.' 

What?!

'What else do you know about her?'

'What you just told.' She said.

'Not funny Rowena ,speak.' I told her with a dangerous tone.

' I'm sorry William ,but I have no right to change the future ,she must find out herself.' She said.

'What, why?' I asked her.

' I can't tell anything else.'

'Now ,can I go, or is there something else you wanna ask?' 

'As you won't speak, no need to continue this conversation.' I told, she nodded, raised from the chair, and went back to her office.

What the hell, what is my mate supposed to be that a witch saying something could change the future?!

'We'll find it out.' Remus said trying to calm me down.

'I know Remus, it just that it would be easier if she could just speak...'

'I know ,hold on.'

* Rea's POV*

First day at college huh...

I'm going for the schedule and a map of the building to the secretaries office.

'Good morning , I'm her for the schedule ,it's my first day .' I told a middle-aged woman that was sitting by the table.

' And your name?' She asked raising her eyes to look at me.

' Rea Mclinet .'

' Oh , yes , we were expecting you today , moment..' She said starting to dig through the drawer of her table. A few moments later she took out a paper sheet and gave it to me.

'Here is your schedule , and the other one is a map so you wouldn't get lost on your fist few days.' She told.

' Thank you .' I told her and turned to go, first lecture starts in ten minutes.

'Well, hello there angel.' Someone told from behind.

'HUh?' I turned to check who was talking to me.

'Hi , I'm Lucas , and you?' He asked once I turned and looked at him dumbfounded, not understanding what the hell.

' Rea .' I told.

' You are new here ,right ? I can help you find your class.' He said smiling at me.

' Oh ,no need, I can find it myself.' I told.

'Cmon ,just tell witch class it is?' Huh, is he stupid?

' 301.'

' Oh , that's great, mine as well, arts , let's go.' We went there.

'I'll sit next to you ,if you'll need notes you can take from me.' He said.

' Thanks .' Still unsure of what's the deal.

For the rest of the lectures, he was f*cking glued to me, I didn't say much to him, but still, he was close. What the hell...

' Okay ,thanks for today , tomorrow I'll be able to do it myself.' I told him while turning to go home.

'Most of the lectures are the same ,so why not?' He said.

' Hey , uh ,where you live ,you need a ride?' Added.

' No thanks , it's like twenty minutes walk .'

'You got lucky, that's so close, for me it's like half an hour ride.' He said. Still not leaving my side.

' Oh, cmon ,why walking when you can ride.' He said, still trying to convince me.

' Okay ,it's my first day and I just wanna go home .' He smiled and led the way to his car, hmm Audi A3. My dad used to have it a few years ago.

'Nice car.' I told sitting in.

' Thanks ,I have this baby for four years already ,still works perfectly .' I just smiled.

' So where we go?' He asked.

'55 Ane street.' I told, he nodded and began driving.

We arrived.

' So , are you dating someone? ' He asked once we stopped . i***t.

' Yeah ,actually I'm seeing someone.'

'That's a shame, well, but we still can be friends , right?' He asked.

' Yeah ,sure Lucas ,bye .' I told him going out of the car. He drove off.

'What was that?' I heard a familiar voice ask behind my back. It's Will, oh good god, why are they stuck to me like bees to honey...

' Hey Will ,why are you here?' I asked him. He smiled.

' Oh, I was just passing by ,thought could say hi.'

'But I asked first.' He added

' Lucas ,he's from college ,and he suggested bringing me home after lectures.'I explained.

' Oh really , from now on I'll bring you to college and take you home.' He said.

'Why?' I asked

'So no other jerk would try taking you .' Ow, he's so sweet.

'Oh cmon it was just a one time thing..' I said, going in while he followed. He answered nothing.

'If you want tea , coffee, I have to get ready for work ,so help yourself.' I told him.

'I'll bring you to work .' he said, I have no wish to argue.

'Okay.' I went to my room to change clothes, once I'm back he made himself a coffee, and a tea.. for me?

' You made tea, for me?' I asked with a raised eyebrow.

'You wanted coffee as well ?' He asked.

'No, no tea is perfect, thank you.' I said.

' So , when are we going on a date?' He asked out of nowhere.

' Date?'

' Cmon Rea , you know I like you ,and I want to take you out on a date, don't you like me?'

Oh damn, this guy is straightforward.

'I do.' I said nervously drinking my tea. His face lit up.

' Okay then ,there will be a date , when are you free?'

'Tomorrow ,or even today after work.' I said.

' Perfect then, after work I'll bring you back , and after that we can go.'

'Where we gonna go?'

' To my house.'

What the hell? It's our first official date, and he's bringing me to his house...?
