Chapter 11. Coming to Adion

*Rea's POV*

Tomorrow is the day, we are going to the city called Adion, it's where my college is located, and Lucy successfully found a company that took her in for her internship. I heard that Adion is a beautiful old-style city and I'm nothing more than happy to live there and explore what it has to offer, at the same time I'm a little afraid, since William gonna live so close, what if it won't work? I mean, yeah, we've been only texting for the last week because he had to go back, and I had to do some stuff as well before flying to Canada.

Couldn't sleep all night thinking of what's waiting for me in Adion, as well, two cursed voices were bugging me. They were... Arguing? Every once and then one of them was telling that it's time, while the other one disagreed, I was like the third person. In my own damn head! It makes me wonder what time they were talking about and for what. And why was I not included.. Trust me, I'm starting to think that they aren't my other personalities because they don't speak directly to me, just say what to do or argue with each other. So yeah. I'm going nuts.

 Took a shower hoping that it will freshen me up a bit, unfortunately no. I look like a damn zombie, I thought to myself looking in the mirror...

Well, it is how it is, I thought while going downstairs for breakfast. Mom took a day off so she could be with me for a little longer, dad asked for it as well but was refused due to some important meeting with a high-paying client... 

But he'll go out earlier so he could take us to the airport.

 'Good morning baby, sit I'm already finished with the breakfast.' She said once she noticed me coming downstairs.

 ' Good morning, mom, it wasn't necessary, I could've made something myself.' I told her smiling. Once she turned to me, she froze. Well, I guess she noticed. 

 ' Rea, are you alright, you look like you haven't slept all night.' She asked. 

 ' I haven't, I couldn't to be honest I don't know why, may be the fright of flying.' Shrugged my shoulders.

Yeah, you see what I did there, I lied to my own mother in order not to scare her with my two extra special friends or enemies, I'm still not sure, sitting in my mind.

 'Oh baby, don't be afraid it's not that bad, you'll just sit in and after two hours you'll be there.. By the way Lucy will be with you..' She told. 

 ' And while on a flight , try to get some sleep or you won't be able to function...' She told now slightly laughing.

 ' Okay mom. ' We chatted for a little while and it's about time to go. Dad arrived.

 ' Hey dad, how was your day? ' I asked him.

 ' Hey, it was alright, of course I'm a bit mad that they couldn't move the meeting..' He stopped once looked at me.

'Ay kiddo, what's up with you, why you look like that?' He asked with a raised eyebrow. 

 ' Couldn't sleep, nervous for the flight.'

 'Oh baby, don't worry it will be alright.' He said.

' Now , go take your stuff ,we should move soon.' Added.

 I went back to my room to check if I have everything, then took my two suitcases and a laptop backpack with purse down.

In the meantime, dad went for a quick shower, changed his clothes, and was already waiting for me by the car.

' Go, sit in the car ,I'll drop these in .' He told motioning to my suitcases. I just nodded and went to the car.

Once he put in the baggage we moved to Lucy's. Fortunately, she was already waiting by the driveway. 'Hey girl.' I told her getting out of the car to help with her luggage. 

 'Hey, what's up with you?' She noticed it as well as I see. 

 'Nothing, just couldn't sleep, we can speak later, now, let's move...' I told her. We put her luggage in the trunk and sat in the car. 

'I'm sorry that you had to pick me up, my parents are busy as always...'Lucy apologized to my parents.

' Oh sweetheart, no problem, you are like our second daughter, as well it was on the way.' Mom said. 

 ' Yes, Lucy, don't worry about it. ' Said my dad smiling at her through the rearview mirror.

' Thank you ' She said. 

 We arrived at the airport.

'Okay girls, behave.' My dad said hugging both of us. 

 'Yes, my babies, behave, and promise to call every day.' Mom said hugging us. 

'Yes mom.' I told. Tears escaped Lucy's eyes.

 ' Oh girl, no need for tears, here, take a tissue.' My mom said once she noticed. Lucy took the tissue and wiped her tears...

 ' It's just that... I wish my parents would be that loving, all they can offer is money.. ' She said sniffing. 

 ' Lucy, calm down girl, we are here for you, if you ever need it. ' Mom said, going for another hug.

 ' Okay girls, you have your passports, boarding passes and the rest of the documents you might need in there, right? ' My dad asked. 

 'Yes.' We both answered. 

' Good, call us when you land.'. He said sitting in the car. 

 ' Bye my babies.' Mom added sitting in the car. We waved for them, after they left we turned to the airport.

 ' Hey Lucy, it's still half an hour till the gates open, shall we go to the restaurant? '

 ' I prefer not eating before the flight, but we can go, and take some ice-cream with shakes.. You know something easy for stomach.' She answered.

'Yea sure let's go..' 

 We just chatted for the rest of the time, then the flight... Oh my f*cking god... It was a disaster, I couldn't get sleep even for a moment, as we were in the air, turbulence occurred from time to time... I thought I gonna s**t my pants when it appeared the first time... But thanks to Lucy I calmed down because she explained that it's normal to happen on a plane.

Once we landed, I think I looked even worse than before sitting in.

And William gonna pick us up, oh goodness I look like s**t, and he gonna see me like that. My only comfort is that Lucy doesn't look too good as well, I don't know what's going on with this girl, but once she heard that Will gonna take us to the apartment, she looks kind of nervous.

 Well, I know it's because of Jeremy. That asshole hasn't texted her ...But Will didn't mention him being as well, so I don't...

F*ck. I was wrong. He's here. I swore in my head once I noticed them both standing by the car... Are you kidding me, a jeep? Is this one rented as well.. way too fancy for me.

We went to them, Lucy is already staring daggers at Jeremy, ha, he deserves it, and then she began her little attack against him... And, wait, what. Oh yeah, I was looking at Will, dammit, he's so good-looking, and I don't speak about his clothes...

Rea cmon, relax girl, stop intimidating the guy, I thought while turning my gaze elsewhere, but it was too late. He noticed and just sent a small devilish smile my way, my damn cheeks started to heat up ... 

When Lucy finished her attack, we sat in the car and Will brought us to the apartment. It was a quiet ride. But once Will gave us the keys which he took for us because he knows the owner apparently. He asked if we wanna go to the restaurant with them, I kindly rejected the invite because these two were still in heat...

Lucy's mood came back the moment they left.

Her eyes went wide once she began looking around.

'Dammit girl.. We got lucky. We gonna have so much space in here ,and it's already beautifully furnished so no need to spend more money on furnishes ...'

' Yeah , I'll need to thank William again for help.' I told her smiling.

' He really likes you ,cuz damn.... We wouldn't have found this place alone for such a nice price..' She said looking at me.

' Thank him really good ,if you know what I mean .' She added blinking one eye.

' Lucy, stop it ,you know that I'm..'

'Yes I know ,and you are waiting for your prince charming ,but don't you think that maybe you already found him?'

' Because, girl ,not every guy would do what William is doing for you.. for example take that asshole Jeremy..' She told his name with so much anger...

'Oh Lucy ,relax a bit , he told he lost it..'

' But William didn't..' She added. I just smiled at her apologetically.

We began cleaning the apartment and putting our stuff into places, our takeaway arrived as planned and we decided to sit on a couch and watch some Netflix until we finish our food, after that resumed cleaning.

*Jeremy's POV*

Lucy.. damn, that girl is so angry at me, and even then she looks like a damn model, why did I have to leave her number on that table in a restaurant? I'll never understand, how could I be so dumb.

After all those months of not wanting to even speak to a woman, she appeared, and every time I'm alone in my room and get a thought of her, it turns me on so much... Or at the airport, when she began lashing out at me, I just wanted to hug her, maybe she's my mate?

' No! I don't feel the bond, she isn't.' My wolf, Micco roared.

'Micco ,dude ,maybe there is something to it? Why we don't feel the bond as strong as Will did.'

' She's not our mate! I'm out!' He roared and went to the back of my mind, locking himself from me.

Hmm... I don't know. Yes, Micco is correct. I did not felt it as strong as Will did, but for sure there is something.

 When she was close, I felt this pull to her, but I don't understand why it's so weak... Even if she's is a human, the bond should make me feel like she's my life anchor from the moment I saw her, but no. It's not like that , when I saw her at that restaurant, she caught my eye as any beautiful woman would, but as four tables separated us I couldn't feel anything, only at the airport I felt it... 

I haven't told about it to Will yet, and I think it's not worth telling because maybe my senses are playing tricks with me after not having a girl for so long... But I bet that he noticed already that something is wrong, just haven't had a moment to pop the question... If he asks... I'm still not sure to tell him or not.

Yes, he's my best friend, since the day we were born we were always together because his father is Alpha and mine is his Beta, and we are both after them, mostly I tell him everything, but not this time...

I can't, it just feels like something is not right with Lucy, and I have to find it out first.

To do that, I must get her to be alone with me, but how... I'll try asking Will to get her number from Rea and then invite her for dinner or a movie or something...

She told '' You have to make it up if you still wanna try something'' and if she disagrees, I'll just remind her. Yeah, she might not like the slight pressure, but I must find out what she's hiding.
