Chapter 7. Breaking the news

*Remus POV*

This is outrageous! We saw her again, and Will did nothing except for playing his little game with her ... Yeah, that he did.

'Move, you damn human , I want her ! Now!'  I roared on him once she turned to go to her table.

'Calm down Remus , I told you already , we can't do this fast , she might freak out and run off.' He answered.

'I know I know , it's just that I feel them and I missed them so much ,so move Will ,move , because I can't stop but be restless until I get them back .'

' Them? Back? What are you talking about?'  He asked.

'Nothing Will , I just confused the words, but listen , could you fasten things up a bit I really want my... mate .'

' Okay, look , I'll text her today ,after we are home ,maybe she'll agree to go out with us tomorrow.'

' Still too slow ,but okay .'

Oops, I slipped a bit, I hope she haven't heard it.

'Oh yes I did and you are in trouble mister.'  She said calmly.

'Hello mother.' I said apologetically.

' Remus ,you know very good that you can't tell him anything until he finds out himself?'

' Yes ,I know mother ,and I'm sorry ,it just slipped , I couldn't help it , I missed them too much .'

'Calm down Remus , there won't be consequences this time , it's been two thousand years and I understand why are you so restless , but please, control yourself ,it won't be long.'

' I will.' There was no other response, she is gone.

Ciara, the moon goddess, all spirit wolves call her mother, we feel too much respect for her to call by name. After all, she created us and always keeps an eye on us, as well comes to know everything that we might ask her of. I don't know why but that's how things work...

She's been called moon goddess for as long as I exist, at first, I didn't understand why, but once I asked her, it became clear.

She said that her mate had given her this nickname, as her hair changes from white to blue in the moonlight, and from then it stayed, I never saw it happen as she haven't stepped in the moonlight ever since her mate passed, she just cloaked herself in that little bubble of hers, calling it her retreat and not seeing a reason to come out since created us, uses us as her eyes and ears to know everything she wants to.

This bubble of hers, it's beautiful. It has a vast garden with a small house in the middle, big swings next to it, a huge lake that's as clear as thin ice.

I wish I could go there when my host passes, but no, we all go to nothingness, just imagine, your human dies and boom ... You are thrown into a black void, at least it could be purgatory... It's not as dark in there from what I heard as in our retreat...

I've been there only once when I had my second human, I wasn't careful enough and slipped by telling that damn witch that I'm one of the first ones, she tried to kill me leaving my human without wolf, I was about to give up when her spell was too strong, but then, moon goddess took me to her bubble, we talked for a while about it, I just wanted to give up because it's a disgrace for a witch to be stronger than I'm, but she changed my mind, I came back all healed and ready to show her her place, once she noticed that I became stronger out of nowhere she just laughed saying 'we'll see again, Remus' and disappeared into thin air... I'll never forget that b*tch , she'll get what she deserves if I ever meet her again... Damn Kijo ... The funniest thing is that 'Kijo' means 'demon woman' as she f*cking is.... damn witch.

* Rea's POV*

We went for a walk to the park, then to the cinema, Back to the future was streaming, I love this place, it always has something good to watch ...

' Do you think he'll text me? ' I asked her.

'Girl , I'm hundred percent sure ,like , did you even noticed how he looked at you?' She asked with a raised eyebrow.

' Like... How?' I asked her. She started laughing.

' Rea... ' 

' What ?!'

' Babe, I love it , you are such a virgin sometimes ...' She began laughing again.

' F*ck you Lucy .' I told her and turned my attention to the screen.

' Okay , okay , relax babe .' She said with raised arms in surrender. After no response continued.

' Rea , cmon you really didn't noticed? ' I looked at her and shrugged my shoulders.

' Yeah... So ,he looked at you like you already belong to him , and I could clearly see that he was a bit sad when you rejected his invitation... You could've accepted it you know , I'm always ready for another burger ' She said laughing carefully.

Oh yeah, thought that I noticed a glimpse of sadness in his eyes before turning...

' Damn... I'm really a virgin...' I told sighing.

' Rea , cmon girl , I'm pretty sure he'll text you , and then don't chicken out like the last two times , okay?'

' Yeah I won't , he's too hot to be rejected .' I told her laughing, and she began as well.

' And I hope that my eye candy will text me as well. ' She added.

' Hell yeah , I hope that too , we could make a double date once we are settled .' I told, and then remembered about my college.

'Lucy , I forgot something that gonna change everything... The college.'

' Oh ,no worries , we'll make it work ,it's always possible when there are willingness to make things work.' She said winking at me.

' Yeah, okay ,you're right.' 

We sat there for a little longer chatting and watching the screen, after that we turned to go home, first, we reached the car that was left at the parking lot by the shopping mall then she brought me home and went to hers.

' Thanks ,it really was relaxing .' I told her.

' Yeah girl , anytime... Now , byeeee. ' She said waving and drove off.

I went back into the house and was met by my mom smiling while holding two letters.

' Hey mom , what's that? ' I asked her.

'Come , let's go to the couch ,Kyle is already waiting for us to sit ,so you could tell us the news.' She said giving the letters to me.

Oh, the letters from colleges, only two for now, but still better than nothing. One's from a college in Canada, another one in Chicago.

' Hey dad .' I told coming to sit next to him.

' Hi baby , so, tell us the news, we can't wait to know where our girl is accepted.' Mom nodded smiling.

I opened the first one .... accepted, the second one .... accepted. My eyes went wide.

'Mom ,dad , I guess I can choose cuz I'm accepted to both .' I told them, still unable to believe it. Dad took the letters from me and studied them.

'Hmm ,I would choose Canada, just because of the opportunities they have over there ,as well the level of education they provide is always high.' He said looking at mom, she nodded.

' Thank you dad , I was thinking the same, then, Canada it is...'

'Oh baby we are so proud of you , and of course you'll have to come back every couple months so we wouldn't go crazy without our girl.' Mom said coming to hug me.

' Of course mom, I will .' I told.

' Oh , and Lucy gonna go with me , she wants to take her internship elsewhere ,because there are some complications at the company she does it now.'

'That's great baby ,at least you won't be alone...' Dad said. I nodded.

We sat a little longer chatting about when I should go there and whether I should start looking for housing or stay at the college's provided place.

After that, went back to my room ready to call Lucy and tell her the news, but then noticed a message from an unknown number and opened it.

-Hey, It's William, so, will you tell me your name eventually so I could name you :D-

Well, that was fast. But anyway, I'm happy he did. 

- Hey, yeah, sorry it's Rea -

- Nice name, so ... what are you up for tomorrow?-

Hmmm, what am I up for tomorrow? Most likely nothing...

- Hmm, I still kind of don't have any plans. Do you have anything to suggest ?-

- Perfect. We could go out then? It would be nice to finally take you out, I couldn't stop thinking about you even for a moment..-

Awww, he's so sweet. But the fact is that I couldn't stop thinking about him as well...

- Yeah, sure, we can .-

- Can you suggest someplace, because I'm here on a business trip and don't know much.-

- Yeah, sure, we could go to the restaurant we met today, then to the cinema we met first at if you want?-

-Great, then, it's a date ?- 

Damn you.

- No, it's more like just two friends going out.- 

- Okay, okay ;)-

What ... wink ...? What the f*ck was that for?

- Anyway, could I get your address, so I know where to pick you from..?-

Oh.. forgot about it ... slapped myself mentally.

- Yeah, it's Willow street 3D house, be here tomorrow at eleven.-

- Okay, see you tomorrow Rea.- 

I didn't answer, just found Lucy's number and called her.

'Hey Rea, what's up?' She asked.

' Hey, so I received the letters for college and already decided where I wanna go...'

' And ,where is it?'

' Canada'

' Oh girl , nice choice ,I'll start looking for companies that would take me in straight away..' She said excitedly.

' Lucy , there is one more thing..'

'What?'

' He texted me.' I told her.

' And...?' She asked.

 ' And we're going out tomorrow.'

' Babe, you are natural..' She said and laughed.

'For what ?'

' Well I thought you wouldn't agree to meet him for at least few more days ,but you did.. And that's a shocker ... Look I'm just happy for you ,go and have some fun ,and I will wait for the news.' She said.

'Yeah I hope I will.'

' Yes , you will , I promise.' She said.

We chatted for a little more, then I went to the shower and after out just chilled in my room thinking of what's waiting for me in Canada and if the thing with William will work out or not...

I really wish it would, cuz daaamn... I'm so attracted to him. I wish I could be with him now...

' Oh ,you will'  something spoke in my head. I know for sure that it wasn't me, so...
