I began to feel conscious of his presence and I made some distance between us but his gaze was following me and he had no intention of diverting it from me.
I tried to not let this get to my head and pretended to be calm as we still had 8 more floors to cross before I reached my destination. I moved forward and stood before the elevator door to make a run as soon as the doors open. I was preparing for the worst case but nothing came to my mind, I felt trapped with him in this elevator and I was confused for a moment, he did look the same but what is he doing here? Who is he? I had too many questions on my mind when I heard a creaking sound and the elevator stopped midway.
