Ashes of Grief

In New York city, there was always that one girl who always woke up to please her parents, but no matter what she did she wasn't treated as one of the Smith's. She had a twin sister but only her twin sister was seen and loved. Then a day came,Monday morning. UNINVITED GUEST: The Smith's family were in the kitchen sitting around a table, Lisa was sick so she couldn't sit and eat with them instead she went to sleep but Mira sat with them and ate, as they were still eating there was a knock on the door Mr.Smith stood up and opened and when he opened he saw someone he didn't ever want to see. Alexander stood there with a smirk on his face and said "Ah my favourite people" he entered the house without asking Mr.Smith was really scared and as Alexander entered the house his gaze was stuck on Mira it was the first time he saw her then his gaze turned to the cold stare Mrs.Smith immediately stopped eating and stood up, Alexander looked at her and said "I was hoping am here at the right time?" he said coldly Mrs. Smith Stammers "Uhm...I...I don't have it yet" she says with a low voice. Alexander laughed as Mr and Mrs.Smith didn't laugh along he stopped and said "oh are u being serious? you really don't have my money now?" Mrs.Smith didn't want Mira to hear this she got angry and pushed Mira off the chair Mira fell with a painful thud on the floor Alexander got angry but didn't show his anger immediately, Mira stood up in pain and rushed to her room and Alexander snapped and said "GIVE MY MONEY!" Mrs.Smith gasped in fear. Mr.Smith looked at Alexander and Mrs.Smith said "Please two more weeks I beg of you" Alexander said "two weeks?" he scoffs and continues "ok Two weeks" and he got close to Mr.Smith and grabbed him with his collar "And if I don't get the money in two weeks, you both are digging your own graves" he shoved Mr.Smith on the floor then Mrs.Smith rushed to his side and helped him up. Alexander stood at the door and said "I'll be back in two weeks and no other minute will be added" He went out and slammed the door then he stood beside his SUV and looked up at Mira's room with a soft gaze and he thought "Am I falling for her?" but he shook his head and said "no it can't be, she...she just like the other, I don't fall in love, ever" he got into the car and his driver drove away. As he left Mrs.Smth rushed to Mira's room and grabbed her with her hair Mira screamed and cried in pain, She dragged her to the living room and threw her on the floor then said "You Should've left when he came in now that you know that we owe him, You are going to pay him" Mira looked up at her "Mom am still schooling, I don't work please spare me just once" her mother scoffed and said "Is it my problem that you are still schooling? no right, now what's going to happen is...there won't be any more school for u" Mira screamed "No mother please!" Her mother smirked "Stand up and go Sell flowers.Now. Mira stood in fear and ran out to get fresh flowers. Mira spent days selling,but her mother didn't care all she cared about was the money she brings home.Mira was going thin and pale but she knew if she had stopped things would have to go bad for her,so she kept going and made sure she got herself something to eat before going home.She felt like there was a whole in heart but she knew that she had to stay strong and everything happened for a reason. The Thrill: Mira was selling more flowers,it was time to go home but as she looked back she saw trouble. Alexander's man were chasing after her she ran so fast but made sure she doesn't fall,she was tired,hurt and hungry but she had to run for her life.As she kept running she managed to lose them and she went home, as she got home her mother pulled her with her clothes and said "How much have you made today" she snatched the money and counted it then looked up at Mira. "Go sleep you have work to do tomorrow" Mira went to her room and slept. The next morning Lisa the other twin sister woke up and went downstairs her mother hugged her and and cupped her face with her hands "How are you feeling my baby?" Mrs.Smith asked and Lisa answers "Am ok mom but I need money to go out with friends, they said they missed me and would like to go out with me today" Mrs.Smith smiled and went to the money Mira made Yesterday and gave her more then she needed "Here go out and have fun" Mrs.Smith kissed Lisa's forehead and Lisa went out. Lisa met with her friends they bought icecream and sweets but not knowing they were being watch, out of the blue Alexander's man chased her and her friends thinking it was Mira.They managed to catch them and did not even hesitate to kill them each one o them had a bullet in their heads. Mrs.Smith got worried as hours pass but Lisa hasn't come home as she was about to go out, the Hospital called and asked her if she Knew Lisa Smith, Mrs.Smith's heart stopped beating for a while, "Y-Yes she's my daughter...what about her?" She says her heart pounding "We are sorry for your loss ma,am she has been...shot and killed, but you would have to come here and confirm her body" ,the phone slipped out of Mrs.Smith's hand and without wasting time she ran out and got a taxi. After some time she reached the Hospital and asked the Receptionist for Lisa, she was leaded to her room she found Lisa laying there, Mrs.Smith's knees felt weak, she got close to the bed and touched Lisa's hand,she cried and even fainted. When she woke up she found herself in the hospital bed face to face with Alexander, Alexander's face showed hurt, he's never felt hurt before he finally spoke "What have you done?why did u involve her into your debts!?" Alexander exclaimed "I...I,what are u talking about?" Alexander looked at her and took out a hurt laugh "Oh u got your daughter killed,I loved her! did u know that!" Alexander was shocked by his own words even Mrs.Smith was shocked but as Mrs.Smith was about to tell the truth the Security guard told Alexander to leave he went out,angry and hurt, for the first time. Alexander got to his office, he found his men standing there reading to apologize for killing Lisa, Alexander looked up at them his eyes cold and calculating "I thought I said you were fired" he said dismissively but his men stood there "Sir we are sorry, we didn't meant to kill her.We were doing this for you" One of them said softly but Alexander scoffed and walked to them "Do you know...how much I was planning for her? I was planning to make her mine!" he looked at his men "I wanted to try with her,only her.I didn't send you to...to run after her did I?" His man looked down in respect "We didn't know you...you can love" Alexander scoffed again "Yeah right I also didn't know, I also had to look at what this feelings mean, I had to fight them and get to know what all this is. I've finally got to know what this is and you...you took it away?" Alexander's voice cracked. to be continued
