FORTY STEVE'S EYES could see moderately well in the darkness of the vault, but he was restrained and immobile. The chains held fast. D'Andre Walker lay still on the cold steel floor. Steve rattled the chains and jolted his body to free himself. “Uhhh!” As he flinched and thrashed, the chains seemed to tighten about him.
