The sky was an intense blue with no cloud disrupting its infinitive magnificence, while the wind was battling with the trees surrounding the gigantic rock where Zandia was sitting peacefully, enjoying the view of her mountains enclosing the concave valley with their wildness and immortal power. With the sun being eaten by the horizon, Zandia was admiring the magical change of colours and the incoming arms of the darkness. With Ares working profusely in tracking down her father, hitting dead ends after dead ends, the 9mega decided upon herself to walk the Territory grounds. She had been living here with the pack since she and Ares arrived, though she never took the time to actually see the territory and what it had to offer, it was beautiful and At the end she couldn't complain much, considering she was basically a rogue and now she had a mate and was Luna to a pack. Her thoughts carried her back to when Lucas was here, and all he had said, she didn't like the alpha but she was very much concern with all he knew and had to say about her parents and her pack being destroyed.
Full Moon pack had shared an extensive history of blood and tears, now in a cold awareness of other packs, with only few accidents in the recent years. Zandia was proud of Full Moon, which was one of the strongest packs, recognised for its vast territory with cheerful members, compassion and reciprocate respect. However, its curriculum was not perfect either, in fact some brutalities and assassinations had happened. It was a rough world where respect was also gained by violence from time to time. Her mate, the current Alpha, had always posed zero tolerance toward trespassing and didn't believe in forgiving: once his trust was lost, it would be forever. Despite it, when people were in need, even not from his pack, Alpha Ares was welcoming everyone and provided warm shelter and protection, fighting against unfairness and injustice.
However the Akuma was on a different level. Zandia shivered thinking about her early age as a child, and how they would hunt and kill members from her pack which was her reason to believing Lucas words, she hated the Akuma and didn't want trouble for her new pack.
Her Pain and tears were still intense.
Her beloved mother and innocent younger siblings, her father a man who was always strong and full of life, she was now left to believe was alive somewhere hiding out to keep her safe from the Akuma
Guilt invaded her again, silently crying for the umpteenth time, the memory and wounds still fresh even after several years from her disappearance.
When more tears dug her red cheeks, she felt the familiar smell of Lucas, confusion immediately made its way on her face, how was his scent nearby, and that when she heard her mates voice through the link. "Zandia, where are you, the pack is under attack by Lucas and his pack".
She ran through the woods. Her bare feet pounded against the hard dirt path. Around her was the silence of the forest that was broken only by her heavy breathing. Her long dark hair flew behind her and her windswept dress slapped at her running legs.
She glanced over her shoulder. A shadow flitted down the path after her. Its yellow eyes promised her dangerous desires she dared not satiate.
Her foot caught on a root. She tumbled onto the ground. The shadow stretched over her. She spun around. A hulking figure stood before her. It leaned down and cupped her cheek in its warm paw. Her pulse quickened. A strong, hot urge enveloped her body.
Her breathing came out tired and afraid but then the shadow came into view and she saw it Lucas running after her all this time. "What are you doing Lucas". The alpha bend to cupped her cheeks in the palm of his hands. "What does it look like I'm doing my Luna". Zandia felt very afraid she knew something wasn't right, she never trusted Lucas but never to the extent where she was afraid of him, "Ares Lucas-" that was all she could get out before Lucas knocked her unconscious. But Ares knew something was off when his mate didn't finish her words through their link, so he tried mind-linking her again but he couldn't speak with her, nor her wolf and the wolves that tried to attack them, most where all dead already and the few remaining where already fleeing. " Follow the wolves, don't lose sight of them, the Luna has been kidnapped".
I woke up in a room surrounded by darkness. It was very quiet, the only sound I could hear was my own breathing. I tried to move my body, causing sharp pain all over it. I groaned and leaned my back to the wall. Now that I'm conscious, my eyes started to get used to the darkness and I can finally see my surroundings. The only thing around was a bed, a night table and a chair. I sighed knowing what had happened earlier, Lucas had attack the pack, her mind immediately thought about her 0ack members, and if anyone was hurt. I closed my eyes trying to ease the pain that I felt all over my body and snapped my eyes open when the door creaked, showing a figure of a man who I despised so much. Lucas, my abductor.
"Are you finally awake, Zandia?" He gave me a hideous smile that sent shudders to my body.
"Why are you doing this to me?" I asked, trying to not sound pitiful but that's exactly how I sound.
"What? I'm not doing anything to you. It's your father who caused all of this, don't blame me, darling," he has that sickly sweet voice that made me want to puke every time I heard it. It takes everything in me to not throw up with every word he utters out of his mouth. Not to mention when every word he said was nothing but gibberish to me.
"What are you talking about?"
"Back then before the Akuma wiped out your pack i begged your father to give you to me as my Luna so we could unite our packs, and make them stronger but he refused, and well we all know what happening after that". A wicked smile spread across his face and I grimaced by the sight of it. I wholeheartedly hate everything about this man.
"So you're doing this just because you want my attention, you want me as your mate".
"Yes, you were mine to begin with and won'tallow any one mate or not to keep us apart" With that, he went upstairs, leaving me all alone again in the room.
I sighed and water started to fill my eyes causing my vision to become even more blurry,What exactly went wrong with Ares and the pack, I wonder? We were so happy before, and I was so loved. They loved me, and it was also the same for me. But now I am here with Lucas, and I don't know what happened, I know Ares was alive still, because I would have felt it if he was dead, but will he even know where I am being held, will I ever get to see him again, and the pack.
I wiped my tears away. Ares will find me, he must are I will never forgive him.
