Chapter 15The flight back to Dallas wasn’t long enough for me to get through half of the notebook. Damn, but she had left me a lot. Why, Aunt Jussy? What made you do that? She may have lived a lonely life, but she’d made good use of it. My flight landed at DFW late Friday afternoon. I got my luggage and a rental car and drove into Dallas. I stopped at the hotel to drop off my suitcase and notebook, then went to the Shaded Parlor. It had just opened and was already booming.
