Chapter Ten Pippa keeps giving me the side-eye, but hasn't said why she's doing it. She hasn't even said anything about last night, which is surprising. She has every other time we've spent the night together, and last night felt like a big one. But I'm glad she hasn't said anything out loud, partly because I'm scared about what she'll say. What if she accidentally reveals to Elias how I'm feeling and he doesn't reciprocate? I don't think a broken heart will help me do my job, or go down particularly well with our bosses. "We have a tip," Elias says as he walks back through the door. My heart skips a beat when he looks at me and smiles. I don't know what I'm worrying about, he clearly feels something, even if it's not exactly as deep as I'm feeling it yet. "What this time?" Pippa asks
