The Truth

I got into the car and sat down. I looked up at my parents. When my dad spoke up.

He said, "Honey when we get back home. We need to talk to you."

I looked at them both and then said, "Okay. Then I looked out of the window. Playing with my necklace. It felt hot under my touch. I let it go.I sat there thinking what was so important that made my dad look so sad."

Is he upset that I will be gone. I will miss my family too. There is nothing I can do. I was chosen to be one of the King's sons bride or slave. I really don't care.

This is my destiny. I was born to serve the Royality. I just hope my master is nice.I will do anything he says. I've read up on everything I suppose to do. Every command. I even read up on punishment. I hope I never get punished but if I do...Then I deserve it.

I sat back and watched the trees zoom by. I was nervous some how. I don't think it's about leaving. It's about what my parents want. The more I look at both of my parents. I don't really think I'm there daughter. I have black hair and my skin is pale. Now my parents are both red head and tan.

I closed my eyes. When I saw this image of a beautiful woman that looked like me. She said, " Sweetie you have to be strong. In two days you will face death. But hold on. You will grow from this. Your mate will come for you.

Then she faded away. I opened my eyes and we were already home. My mom was holding my hand with tears dropping down her rosy cheeks.

I looked at her puzzled. I didn't know what she was doing. She pulled me to her and hugged me. Then she looked at me and said, "We love you baby girl. You will always be ours."

Then she laid down an envelope. In my lap. She got up taking my father's hand in hers.

They both disappeared into the house. Leaving me in the car with this envelope. I picked up the letter and opened it up. I started reading it. Tears started falling down my cheeks. I was right.

I put the letter back in the envelope. I got out of the car and went into the house. My parents were standing there. I hugged them both and said, "I love you. Don't ever forget that. We have one day left before I leave. Can we do everything we use to do together. Mom, Dad.

They both nodded there heads. Then dad ordered pizza, Chinese, fajitas and much more. We all three sat there and watched movies and ate for the next day and a half. Until it was time to go.

I took a shower and put on the clothes they sent us. I was dressed in a red dress. With a ruby necklace. On the back of the necklace. It had a message.

"To my beloved, Sebastin."

I smiled to myself that the other girl didn't get who she wanted.

I was finally dressed and then we left. The only thing we could take was a notebook and pen. Nothing else. I was happy that I could. At least we could write down our thoughts. I sat back against the seat looking out the window.
