Nora’s trauma
Episode 1
Nora was born into the family of Mr. Benson. She had two brothers, but despite being the only girl, she never felt alone. Her father was her closest friend. They shared laughter, secrets, and dreams of the future. He made her promises—beautiful promises—that made her feel special, seen, and loved.
But slowly, things began to fall apart.
Nora’s father fell ill and was diagnosed with goiter. He was scheduled for surgery, and although everyone tried to stay hopeful, life changed after that day. When the surgery was over, he returned home—but he was no longer the same. The warmth Nora was used to began to fade. The conversations stopped. The closeness disappeared.
Nora felt the distance deeply. She longed for the comfort she once had, the reassurance she used to receive so easily.
One day, her father asked her to buy biscuits for him from a nearby market. When she returned, he was gone. Her mother told her he had gone out, but Nora felt confused. How could someone who could barely stand up from bed suddenly go out? And why were there neighbors gathered in their house?
She waited. She hoped.
Two days later, Nora learned the truth—her father was gone forever.
Her heart shattered.
She wasn’t only grieving his death; she felt betrayed. It felt to her as though he had known he was going to leave and had chosen not to tell her. What about the promises he made? What about the love she believed would always be there?
That unanswered pain cut deep.
From that moment on, Nora’s once-beautiful life began to feel like a nightmare
