The twins noticed. Of course they did. How could they not?
They noticed how Bee tried not to wince every time she moved or took a step. They noticed how Bee’s fingers were so swollen they could not put her wedding ring on or how she couldn’t put theirs on without help. Bee might be alive, but she was still severely injured. It broke the Twins' hearts to see their new wife in pain, so they did not feel the slightest guilt about taking their wife away as soon as the wedding breakfast was over.
The service was beautiful and simple. There were many tears of happiness within the church. The twins were surprised when they were led to a small boat that was decorated with flowers and ribbons.
"Well, don't just stand there, get in!" Bee ordered as she hobbled onto the boat.
