Tomorrow Aiden leaves for who knows how long and Ava has been out of it all day. Actually, she’s been out of it since she picker her wedding dress. She’s been cleaning and listening to music on her phone and every time I went to go up to her and say something she would respond with shrugs, grunts and groans. The only time she would show any type of emotion was when Lucas was around, so I was happy to see that at least.
Earlier today, Sawyer came over and tried to talk to her but that was no use. Once she saw how defeated Ava looked, that was it. They both got sucked into the sad circle they created. They had this silent conversation between the two of them while they set up the back yard with decorations and cooked food in the kitchen.
