Chan's POV
Days passed by and we became really busy for the performance at the foundation week. Lucas also has some tasks to do at their department so we rarely see each other and Alex became my company whenever we have time to have a break or rest for a while. I really don't know why but I have a feeling that Lucas is avoiding me.
"Chan?"
"Huh?"
"Is there something that bothers you?" Alex asked when Lucas suddenly entered the cafeteria and he was alone. I immediately stood up and approached him. Geez. I don't know what I am doing. I just felt like I want to talk to him.
"Lucas."
"Hm?" He paused and looked at me coldly. Why is he looking at me like that? Did I o something wrong?
"A--are you avoiding me?"
"No."
"Then why are you like that? You are not even approaching me for the past few days."
"I'm just busy, Chan." He replied and walked away from me going to the counter to get his food. I can't get it. I don't get it, really. Why is he treating me like that?
"Chan, are you okay?" Alex asked me when I got back from our seat. I nodded at him as a response. It's really weird that the hyper Lucas has changed to a cold one that fast. Something is really bothering him; I can feel it.
After taking our lunch, we went back to the dance studio. Classes are dismissed early because the foundation day is an important event for the University and we have to prepare fully. It was also explained to us that the University Foundation Days or Week comes with a lot of visitors, also the alumni night that sponsors the Cultural Organization so we must impress them. The Cultural Organization is still at work because of these sponsors. However, I bet those sponsors don't know anything about ballet. They are only concerned about their money.
"Straighten your knees."
"Pull up your shoulders."
"Curve your hands."
Our artistic director became really strict during our practice because aside from the foundation day, we will perform for the upcoming alumni night tomorrow. Yes, it is already tomorrow.
"Chandrea, Alex, prepare for act 2."
Act 2 of Giselle is the climax. Albrecht who was heartbroken and depressed of Giselle's death goes to Giselle's grave and kneels down on it. Albrecht will eventually see the shadow of Giselle who is dancing. He was captivated by the dance of Giselle and he followed her to the woods but now gone, Myrtha who is another character tries to lure Albrecht with Giselle's dance until Giselle herself danced with Albrecht to save him from Myrtha and to express their love for each other. Apparently, the dawn came and Giselle disappeared, leaving Albrecht alone and heartbroken. He then realized that Giselle saved his life.
"Okay, excellent! Good job everyone! I think you are ready to perform tomorrow night. Are you ready?" Our director asked.
"YES!"
"Okay everyone, have a good sleep and take a rest. See you tomorrow!"
"Yes sir!"
Everyone fixed themselves and went to the locker room and comfort room to change their clothes as the practice was dismissed by our director.
"Chandrea."
"Hm?" Alex was holding my wrist so he immediately let go of it when I noticed it.
"Your dance was great. I loved it." I smiled at him sweetly. I am happy that he liked my dance but he dances really great too.
"It's because my partner is great too."
"Naah." He laughed a bit so I chuckled softly at him. "Where are you going after this?" He asked.
"I am going home already. Why?"
"I'll wait for you, I'll walk you home."
"No--no need."
"Chandrea, I insist. It is already late."
"O--okay, if that's what you want." I just shrugged my shoulders and entered the comfort room to change my clothes. Should I call him? Did he already go home? Aish! Chandrea, why are you thinking about that guy when he is really inconsistent about what he's saying? His mouth and mind are all mixed up as well as his heart!
Lucas' POV
Can you just shut up boy? Chandrea is already with Alex now. She is with her fate so you don't have to worry. When they have fall in love with each other which I don't think it would take long, you can fulfill your mission already. You brought Chandrea to her fate and you don't have to worry about it, Lucas.
"Right, I don't have to worry about it." Ugh! But why do I have this feeling that she's not safe with that Alex?
"Arghhh!! Lucas, what are you thinking?!"
Someone is coming. Is that Chan already?
I looked at my window and it turns out to be Chandrea but with Alex. Tch. They are smiling and I bet they are talking about weird things. Good job, you boy huh? You already walk Chandrea home. I guess, you don't need my help on pursuing Chan already because you know what to do. Chan looked at my window so I immediately hid from her. Phew. Why is she still bothering me--
"Are you jealous?"
"BIG BOSS!" Argh! Why is he always surprising me?!
"Are you jealous?"
"No! Of course not!"
"Then why are you doubting Chandrea and Alex?" Huh? What is he talking about?
"Of course! I need to know if Alex is really Chandrea's fate for me to finally fulfill my mission. I don't want to commit mistakes again, Big Boss. I just want to go to paradise."
"Really huh?"
"Aish! What are you doing here?!"
"I am just here to remind you that you have limited time left." I know, I know. I am aware of that.
"I know!"
He just smirked at me and snapped out of nowhere for him to disappear. Aish. Big Boss pressures me like that. I know what I am doing and I am really sure that before the deadline, I will go to paradise.
"All is well, Lucas. All is well."
"Lucas!" Brother? I went out of my bedroom to look if that's really my brother, Eros.
"What's that?" I approached him who was preparing something at the dining table.
"It's a simple food for us two. Do you know what day today is?" Today? What? "Aigoo. It's the day I found you and made you officially my brother so we must celebrate." Really?! That's today?! "Have you forgotten? Eyyy. I am so disappointed with you."
"Come on, bro! I was really dumbfounded, confused and shocked that time so I can't really remember what happened but you know what bro? I am really thankful that you've treated me like your real brother. I am lucky to have a kind, sweet, caring, thoughtful and strong brother."
"Wait, that's it?"
"Of course handsome, but I am still more handsome than you."
"Alright, alright, if that's what you think. Let's eat. I also bought Soju."
"Whoaaaa."

Lucas' POV
I need to go to the alumni night because I have dreamed of Chandrea and it's not a good thing. Someone will try to sabotage the party and her victim is Chandrea.
"Sir, do you have an invitation?" Invitation? Geez. I don't have any-- Oh--wait, what is this?
"I--is this the invitation?" The guards took the folded cardboard from me and let me pass by. I guess Big Boss did that. Thank you, Big Boss.
This party is really prestigious for a lot of big people were already here, sitting at their respective seats. I need to look for Alex.
"There you are." I grabbed his arm and pulled him at the corner.
"What?"
"I am not here to create any scene, Alex. Promise me one thing." I said.
"What? What is it?"
"Never leave Chandrea alone."
"What are you talking about?"
"Just promise me!" He nodded and I let go of his arm as he went back to where Chandrea is sitting. I need to look for the waiter whom they paid for the job. I went to the kitchen to look for him but he's not there.
"Sorry." Someone bumped into me and he was wearing a waiter suit but his face was covered with a black cap. Geez--He's that guy from my dream, I am sure of it. I walked fast to chase him but he noticed it so he took the other direction. Aish!
"I won't let this pass." I walked faster until I was able to grab his collar and corner him. "Tell me, what are you doing?! Did someone paid you for this job?!"
"I--I don't know what you are saying. I just went out to take some cigarette. That's all." He showed me the cigarette he was holding. I guess I was wrong.
"I--I'm sorry." Aish! That' was terrible, Lucas. You are terrible. I got back at the hall and the director of the Cultural Organization was standing at the podium. That's her. That's Reina's sister.
"I would like to introduce to you, the prima ballerina of the University Cultural Organization, Chandrea Uy."
Chandrea stood up from her seat but she paused on going up on stage as she felt dizziness.
"Chandrea!" I ran towards her but she pushed me and she started to shout words and phrases.
"You! All of you! You suck! You don't know anything about ballet! You only care for your money! Get out! Get out of my sight!"
