Chan's POV
I opened my eyes as soon as I made my wish. Seeing the meteor shower like this feels so magical. I am really happy right now.
"Lucas." I looked at him and caught me staring at me which made my heart beat faster. Geez. Why is he staring at me?
"Hm?"
"Did you not make a wish?" I asked him.
"Actually, I have three wishes. I have three wishes for you." He replied while smiling. Wait, is he saying that I need to grant his three wishes?
"What?"
"Do you want to know my first wish?"
"What is it?" I asked him.
"Be happy, Chandrea." He said seriously while looking at me. Yes, I am happy. I am happy now because you are here with me. I am happy because I have a friend like you, Lucas. You are the one who made me happy.
"I am happy." I nodded and replied at him. "Lucas."
"Hm?"
"Close your eyes."
"Huh?"
"Just close your eyes." I want to reward him. I don't know why but I want to do this; I want to give it to him. As he closed his eyes, I leaned closer to his cheek to kiss him.
"What are you trying to--" He suddenly turned around so his lips suddenly bumped into mine which made us both surprised.
"HEY! Why did you turn around?!"
"Why are you mad at me?!"
"I--I was supposed to reward you at your cheek but you--" Before I can continue what I am saying, I suddenly felt his lips into mine.
Did he just kiss my lips?
Alex's POV
I knew it. Chandrea and Lucas is not only friends but it seems like their relationship is more than that. Lucas wants me to take care and pursue Chan but what is he doing? He is kissing Chan like he loves her. Argh! Damn it!
"Reina?" What is she doing here? It's already late and she's still practicing?
"Reina." I entered the ballet studio and called her attention. "Why are you still here?"
"I need to practice."
"Practice for what?"
She looked so frustrated until I saw a piece of cloth with stains of blood at the floor. She's overworking.
"Why are you overworking?"
"That's not of your business." She replied. "We are not even close."
"Reina, you are part of the corps so it's normal that I will be concerned for you. Your feet is already bleeding! Stop over working yourself!"
"Can you please shut up?!" She exclaimed and faced me. "I need to get Giselle's role from Chandrea!" That's it-she admitted the truth.
"That's why you are overworking yourself?" I approached her and let her face the big mirror at the studio. "Look at you. Ballerinas like you are most concerned of their body, figure-most concerned about themselves. To be a true ballerina, you have to be selfish. You have to prioritize yourself first."
After my words, she just stared at herself at the mirror and doesn't say anything. "I have to go." I said and left her there at the studio.

Chan's POV
Lucas' phone suddenly rang while we were was taking our lunch. We decided to take our lunch together since it has been a while.
"Hello?"
"Is this Eros' brother? Lucas?"
"Yes, who's this?"
"This is from St. Joaquin Medical Hospital. Your brother is in critical condition."
"What?!" I already had a hint that it wasn't a good news since Lucas stood up and exclaimed while he was talking to someone at his phone. He suddenly ended the call and ran without saying any word. What's happening?!
"Lucas! Wait! What happened?!" I tried to follow him but he was so fast that he took the first taxi that stopped in front of our campus. He seems so worried so I think he needs someone to be there for him.
I hailed the second taxi that stopped in front of the campus and asked to follow the taxi that Lucas was at. Few minutes, I realized that the road we are taking while following Lucas' taxi was going to the hospital. Did something happened to his brother?
The taxi stopped in front of the hospital and Lucas hurriedly went to the ICU and without a word, I followed him from behind. Lucas doesn't have any family except Eros so I really know how hard it is for him.
"Doc, what happened to my brother?"
"He was shot by an unknown person during a mission. We already removed the bullet at his chest but his lungs were affected. Now, he is still under observation and he's in critical condition."
"Doc, please. Please, save my brother. Please, I am begging you."
"We did the best that we can do. Now, it's up to the body condition of your brother if he will survive. Excuse me."
"Doc! Doc please!"
Lucas exclaimed while crying so I approached him and hugged him tight.
"Lucas."
"Chandrea, Eros.. My brother Eros.. He will die.. Eros.. I can't.. I need to save him."
"Shhh.." I caressed his back and let him cry. I pity Lucas a lot. Eros is his only family yet, this happened. He needs someone tho be there for him and I am ready to be with him. He is important to me. He is special for me. Now that I realized this when we watched the meteor shower, I will make him feel that I am always here for him because I like him. I am not sure if he likes me too but that's not important right now. I need to be at his side. I will stay at his side.
"Lucas, where are you going?"
"Stay here, Chan. I will be back."
"But--"
"Please."
Because of that, I was forced to stay here at the ICU and wait for him to come back.
Lucas' POV
"What do you want?" Why is this all happening to me? I wish I can really talk to you personally but you're not even answering me. Why are you doing this to me?
"Why are you doing this to someone who have lived his life following all your commandments?! Why?! Eros is such a nice human!"
"Do you really want to know why?" It was Big Boss. He appeared in front of me. "It was because of your wish."
"What?! What did I wish?!"
"You wished to stay with Chandrea for a long time. You wished to be a human."
"What?!"
"You might deny it in front of me but the deity knows what's in your heart. You want to be a human because you are already falling in love with Chandrea." And how did it become my fault now?!
"But why does He did this to my brother?!"
"That's his fate. He will die because of his commitment to his profession. But because you wished something like that, it became earlier. This is a warning for you. That you must follow your mission only and not interfere at the lives of humans."
"Is there anything I can do to save my brother?! He can't go before me! I have a lot to tell him and admit to him. I still have to say a proper goodbye to him."
"You can't do anything about it, Lucas. Your brother has only few days left." He disappeared after saying those. No. That can't be.
"NO! THAT CAN'T BE! NO! PLEASE NO!"

Chan's POV
I was asked by Lucas to go home even if I insist that I will stay with him. He insisted that I must go home already because my mother needs me. I am becoming really worried about Lucas. He was so devastated about what is happening with his brother-if only I can do something for him.
"Chandrea-Chandrea!"
"Huh?"
"You are in deep thought. Is there something wrong?" My mom asked me while she was folding my clothes and putting it at my closed.
"Mom, I am just thinking about Lucas and his brother. Did you know? His brother, Eros, is know in critical condition because he was shot by an unknown person."
"Oh my goodness."
"Yes mom. I am just worried about them. Eros is the only family of Lucas."
"Don't worry too much. You can visit them tomorrow. For now, take a good rest. I know you are already tired of the on going practices for your performance. Sleep well my dear."
"Yes mom, goodnight."
Mom went out of my room and I also turned off the lights from my room. Aish. I hope Lucas is okay. I know he's really devastated right now.
Lucas! Lucas! Lucas! Please! Don't! Don't leave me Lucas! Please!
Lucas, I can't live without you please! Please, I am begging you don't leave me!
No! Lucas please!
"Lucas!"
Geez. What kind of dream is that? It was clear and I can still remember that dream I just had not like the other dreams that I am having back then. It was clear that Lucas and I were in front of the altar and he was on my thighs, he was catching his breath and when I touched his lower left stomach, it was full of blood and blood was already flowing at the floor.
Lucas..
Will that really come true?
