Vincent’s P.O.V.
“Why did they come back soon?” I asked Asher in confusion. I was in my office when I got a call from him and he told me about Sara’s coming back from her vacation. “Mrs Warner slipped in the kitchen at home and was hospitalized”, he told me and I took my lower lips in between my teeth. “Is Mrs Warner okay?” I asked him with concern. “Yeah.. she was discharged from the hospital the last night. There is no serious injury but she has to be on the bed for a few weeks”, he explained, and I took a long breath. “You can call her now”, he spoke again when I didn’t say anything for a few seconds.
“Yeah.. I was thinking about calling her. I can an excuse of wishing her a late birthday”, I said in a sarcastic tone. He laughed and I really felt like strangling my best friend right n
