“What about your father’s condition?” I asked Sara in a calm tone. Reagon told me about what happened with Sara and I couldn’t tell what I felt. When I reached here, her friend Iris was there with Patrick. Iris was crying in Patrick’s embrace. At first, I was confused to see the scene in front of me. Sara was lying on the inclined bed and was completely covered with the sheet and was relieved to see that she was okay. Later when Iris started blabbering about the bruises all over her body and the cuts that she got due to pieces of glasses, I felt someone knocked up the whole air out of my system. Even the imagination of having glass pieces all over your body was horrible.
