KAEL’S POV The vibration stopped suddenly. Her body went still, and the mark on her palm dimmed from blinding silver to dull ash. My wolf growled through the mind-link in frustration. Her fingers twitched in my hands, but her face remained pale. I pressed my forehead to hers, using my energy to stabilize her and take away most of the pain. “Stay with me,” I whispered. I reached out through the mind-link to Thalia, the priestess of the pack, for help. This was far beyond my knowledge. After a few minutes, Thalia arrived.
