A Soldier's Skill

Zod introduces Veer to Alessia and tells him that he will be working under her . Veer was mesmerized by her muscular built but shakes it off and greets her , she tells him to drop the formalities and follow her . She takes him to a place where other soldiers were training , as soon as she enters they get serious and start training properly . Alessia informs that they are in the training ground and she will be training him in combat along with other soldiers . She then asks him to attack her surprising everyone there , Veer says he can't hit a woman without any reason . Hearing his words she sighs and then smiles , she tells him to defend himself while she attacks and proceeds to attack him . To everyone's amusement Veer starts running away from her , unable to catch him Alessia asks to stop running and defend himself .

With her techniques she thawrts him on the ground and places his neck in a lock , Veer gets embarrassed because of a woman's body toching his . She then releases him and tells him that no matter how strong he is, without fighting skills he is just a normal guy on the battlefield so he should forget his fame as the demon Killer and focus on his training with his whole heart . When the others hear that he is the demon killer they start discussing , Veer tells her that he is not a demon killer rather he only killed the demons who attacked his village also despite being weak her techniques are awesome so he will try his best to learn whatever she teaches him . This shocks everyone including Alessia , she glares at him and asks the reason for calling her weak and if he's arrogant . Terrified he humbly explains that he didn't mean disrespect , he knows that he needs to train to learn how fight humans however she truly lacks strength . Alessia was confused , she decides to arm wrestle to see the difference in power . Everyone gathers around in excitement to see the winner , to their surprise she couldn't even flinch his arm , he says that there's no point in the contest and gently defeats her . Alessia was impressed and tells him that he better prepare himself because his training starts tomorrow and it will be harsh for him . She calls a guy and orders him that he will be staying in their block and tells Veer to be at the ground before sunrise tomorrow .

The guy leads Veer to his block , he introduces himself as Ashok and tells him that only general Zod could beat her in armwrestling , shocking Veer . Veer asks him if he will get the same clothes that they were wearing , Ashok laughs and tells him that he is happy that he got Veer's responsibility so he is free from training today . While taking him to the tailor and then the mess hall where they eat he fills him with every detail he needed to know . Finally he shows him their living place where he will be staying along with them and asks him to rest for the day .

During the dinner Ashok introduces him to his friends where they tell him how excited they are now that the demon killer will be training with them . After the dinner Veer asks Ashok to help him send a letter to village . The next day Veer arrives in training outfit , Alessia comments that it suits him which makes him blush.

She informs him that she will be training him to use swords and hand to hand combat . Veer asks if she would train him in archery since he would like to use those enchanted arrows which look very cool. Alessia says that archery is difficult and he might be better suited for close combat . He reluctantly obliges , Alessia thinks for a bit and then agrees to decide after a test . She teaches him to use a bow and arrow and asks him to shoot at a bird's eye. Veer denies and says that he can't unnecessarily kill a bird , she tells him that a soldier needs to kill but anyways gives another target . He accidentally breaks a bow but after few trials he successfully hits the target accurately , he asks if she would teach him archery . She agrees and takes him for another test .

She asks him to choose any weapon of his choice and go inside the arena which was filled with hanging woods . He chooses a maces and goes inside , despite not being able to cope up with the movements he did good . She then tells to him to try with Sword , Shield, axe and spear . After the test she exclaims that he seems good with a mace and axe , Veer explains that he always used plough to fight demons and heavy weapons give a similar feel . She asks him which one he would like to train with first , he thinks for a bit and chooses mace . She starts his training in three fields : archery, hand-to-hand combat and mace fighting .
