THE FEMALE REPAIRER In a quaint vicinity in the west of Sampa there was only one means of communication. The king was worried when he was informed, all the royal family became silent. As Mr Afram was heading towards work the clouds and the weather changed, he was late for work so he had to speed up his movement. It started raining cat's and dogs he became wet when he reached and was also tried. Things went bad for him he couldn't access his phone because it was spoilt, it became a headache it really affected his day to day activities. His daughter Asantewaa saw his father worried situation, and promised to help. She serviced the phone and handed it to him, to his surprise it became active, the joy in Mr Afram knew no boundaries. He didn't kept it a secret he informed his neighbors and they all praised their ancestors for coming to their aid. " My daughter thanks for coming to my aid, my livelihood depends on this phone, it repaires only is a different problem altogether. You don't know what you've done, it takes hours to repair a faulty phone but it took you only a blink of an eye, what's your secret? His dad was astonished how she was able to repair it with ease, without any training from an expert. " I give glory to our ancestors, they taught me how to go by". She gave thanks to the goddess for granting her wisdom to repair her father's phone. CHAPTER TWO Two decades later Kumi the son of the king volunteered himself as a sacrifice. Kumi ushered praises and adoration to his king his father soughting for permission to have a word with the king. " I invoke the blessings of our ancestors to your generations, poverty and all misfortunes that trouble mankind would never come close to thee. Can you please let me know the intentions behind the adoration? The king quizzed his son with intentions to know why he ushered him his adoration. It would be a disgrace to our integrity, by so I intend to seek the permission to grant my heart felt desire". Kumi highlighted his intentions to the king hoping it falls on fertile ground. "My son what you request is beyond my reasoning, I guess you give it a thought, you are my only son. A heir to the throne, I might join my ancestors soon and as traditions demand you would rule this land. I don't think any reasonable person like you would sacrifice his blood to save the land. Our ancestors wouldn't even accept your blood, so stop joking and make something profitable before the day comes to an end. The king was worried about his son request, neglecting him what he requested urging him to give it a second thought. Kumi was displeased with his father, rejecting his proposal but as a confident person he never gave up. The king wore a worried behavior thinking about the future implications, if he doesn't attend to the needs of his son. His wife noticed sudden change in the king day to day activities, so she approached the king. " Your majesty you can confide in me with what troubled you, a problem shared is half solved. As a king the kingdom tap into your healthy well being, so don't disappoint the good people of this kingdom". Kunuve the wife of the king lended a listening ear hoping to ease his burden. " Our only son intended to use his blood as a sacrifice to save the land, you and I know he is our only child. It have been my headache for some time now, it have made me have sleep less night. I intended not to worry you about it but I guess now it beyond my reasoning, what do you suggest we do? The king voiced out his troubled hoping to find a solution. " Hmmm this really a hard nut to crack, what he request can't be granted how can we give birth and due to this pandemic we render childless. That won't happen I would voice some sense to him maybe he thinks it's easy as he claims." Kuave highlighted her intentions to the king hoping he agrees with her. " Please take it easy on him, so he doesn't do anything stupid, because he is full of surprises thesedays". The king cautioned her to temper patience with justice as she seek to have a word with their son. The next day the early morning light signaled the start of a new day, the queen approached his son in his room. The queen gave him the go ahead to ask him whatever troubles his peace. " If we folds our arms relaxed our nerves, pretend not to be bothered, we will all face the wrath of the evil forces. I guess if it was to be the other way round the youth would gladly volunteer themselves to safe our land from it doom. Kumi voiced out his intentions hoping to know her mother thought, about the happenings in the land. CHAPTER THREE "My son I understand how you feel but it's not easy as you think, you are our only child and guess what would happen to your mother. It took us countless years for us to give birth to you, just give it a thought and put yourself in our shoes. That would be senseless, the gods would be disappointed in us, and the people might think we only seek, the fortune that comes along with royalty.
