Crimson Lace

I wanted to fall asleep in this warm water. I forgot how nice it is to shower and wash my stinky hair and body.

'I wonder what made my boss and coworker come over.. did they hear about...' "Deep breathes. In and out. In and out Lily." 'It just hurts I can't believe she's gone.' I brought out of my thoughts when my tummy made a grumbling sound which made me hunch over in pain. 'Man I didn't eat for the entire day today. I usually eat like a snack or something. Damn, I really almost slept the entire day. I said I was going to I was, but damn!' Someone knocked on the door. I yelled over the rushing water and peeked out from behind the curtain.

"Hurry up Lily. We picked out an outfit and placed it on the bed. So put it on when you're done." Vanessa said. I didn't get to say a response because she had already left. I shut off the water and grab a towel from the towel rack and wrapped the fluffy towel around my body. I walk over to the bed and see the outfit the girls laid out for me. A pink lace sleeveless leotard, pink big wide-leg pants, and pink faux suede open toe strappy high heel sandals.

'Not bad.'

"Let's look in her closet for an outfit, so we can hurry up and get out of here." Dalia agreed.

We walked over to the closed mirror covered door to see a bunch of clothes. Dalia walks closer and grabs a sexy looking deep v, hollowed-out harness dress with the tag still on it. Along with some other clothes in the closet things, she could wear to the office but doesn't. This closet is filled with clothes with tags on still them. I let out a sigh, 'So many things to be done.' Dalia catches my eye when she pulls out a pink laced leotard.

"You find the pants and I find the shoes?"

"Deal."

I kneel in order to see the shoes. I had to crawl into the farthest corner of the closet to find some shoes that were different from the ones she wears at the office. Finally, I found pink heels and crawled out again. I dust off my tight black pencil skirt and pulled down my black and white 2/3 sleeved shirt. I was going to find some jewelry for her to wear, but that's too much work. If she wants to put on jewelry she can get it herself. I knocked on the bathroom door. I heard a loud 'come in.' I enter and I see a peeking Lilyana.

"Hurry up Lily. We picked out an outfit and placed it on the bed." I left before Lily could answer. I walk downstairs into the living room with Dalia and sit down on the sofa waiting for Lily.

I put on the outfit and went to my jewelry chest and pulled out a double-layered Y-Type chain and a diamond choker. I walked up to my mirror and checked myself out 'Damn I look good. Can't keep the girls waiting.' I grabbed a light pink jacket and walked downstairs. Dalia was the first to jump up in excitement and joy.

"You look amazing! We should do this more often! EEEKKK!!!" I could only look down in embarrassment as blood came rushing to my face.

I shyly look back up waiting to hear something or get a reaction from my boss. Truth be told I've always had a tiny crush on Vanessa, but I have an amazing and loving boyfriend, so I've always pushed these feelings aside also I don't know if Vanessa likes girls in that type of manner and I'm most definitely not trying to ruin the friendship that we have so yea. When I look into Vanessa's deep almond set dark chocolate brown eyes and I look down towards her full rounded maroon-colored lips and I see a small smirk on her lips. My face instantly heats up and I look down. I immediately pick my head up and smile

"Let's hit the town, my fellow women." Dalia was again the first one up after fixing her grey button long sleeve suit blazer with a skirt then puts her gray T-strap round toe Mary Jane pumps back on and grabs her bag running towards the door then stops turning around.

"Whose car are we taking?" Vanessa swings her car keys on her pointer finger then grasps them in her hand "Mine." I nod thankfully in her direction. I step outside and I see a 2014 Aston Martin DB9 Carbon Black Edition. I look between Vanessa and the Aston Martin then slightly nodding my head.

I was about to sit in the back, Vanessa grabbed my hand and led me towards the passenger side. "You sit up front." I could only nod dumbly as she opened the door for me.

"So where are we going?" I ask as soon as the other two came into the car. "We didn't exactly plan anything, the idea just kinda happened when we came to your house."

"I say we go to Downtown Boston. I absolutely LOVE Downtown, especially during the nighttime! Please. please, please can we go, Vanessa, there are some decent places down there, pleeeaaaasssssee?!" If I could kneel right now I would be kneeling with my hands clasped in front. I heard laughing from the back seat so I turned around to pout and glare at Dalia, but I heard my boss, Vanessa White laughing. "You're too cute. We'll go Downtown okay? Just please don't beg anymore my insides can't take it. You're such a little kid!" I whipped back around and stared at Vanessa. It's so rare to see her laugh a real laugh the best part of it all is that it's so contagious. I couldn't stop laughing then Dalia started giggling then full-on laughing. So it's just the three of us just sat there in the car laughing our asses off. "We haven't even driven off yet and I'm having the time of my life already!"

"Well let's go!" Vanessa put the key in the ignition and the car roared to life and we were zooming down the streets of the town.
