When the Rain Falls

Young Master

I think I was walking for more than five or more minutes and the sky is getting darker. I lost count on how long I have walk because I was still thinking about what just happened and haven't notice that I was currently standing in the middle of the park. When I snap back into my senses, that's when I realize that my feet was so tired from walking.

(Well, you can't blame me, I'm not athletic and I sometimes hate walking this far.)

When I saw a bench nearby, I hurriedly go there and take a sit while stretching my legs.

I was currently in daze, when I heard a loud thud coming from my back.

"What the heck?" I blurted out jumping from my seat and turn around.

Then I saw a guy wearing a black hoodie who laid flat on the grass near a huge tree.

(Did he just fall? I ask myself instead.)

Out of nowhere I suddenly rush to him to che bcck if he was still breathing.

(You know!, I'm some sort of weirdo sometimes. If you'll ask.)

"Hey?" I slowly turn him around. He was so heavy, maybe his body was made out of stone.

(Just kidding!)

"Holy s**t" I curse upon seeing his bloody head and he had some bruises in his face but his undeniably handsome. I slowly tap his cheeks, I felt so relieve when he slowly open his eyes.

I was so captivated by his eyes that I forget how long I stare at him.

"Your gawking." He smirk.

"Im sorry, Are you okey?" I ask him and help him sit.

"Isn't it obvious?" he ask me sarcastically ignoring my question.

(What is wrong with him?)

"There's no need to be sarcastic." I said in a very low voice.

"What did you just say?" he ask curiously.

"Nothing!" I answered then gives him a fake smile.

He was about to say something but was stop when it started raining. We where silently sitting near the tree and was nowhere to go.

My shoes was now drench with water.

(This day was totally one of my unlucky day.)

I shouted and cry.

"Please? somebody help me!" I cried and cried.

(I hate it when it rains because it comes along with thunders. I wanted to call mom but I realize that I don't have my phone with me, maybe I left it when I ran out and I'm with this stranger who doesn't even care that I'm already crying. I got some fear of thunder and lightning which is known as Astraphobia.)

Just then the memories of the past comes flooding and some kind of nostalgia hits me.

I heard another thunder which now comes along with a lighting before a blackout. All I can remember was someone catching me when I was about to fall, then I was slowly embrace by darkness.

When I woke up and open my eyes, all I can see was a room filled with color gray.

(Why does my room turns into gray and why would I have an elegant painting on the wall?, that's when I realize that I'm not in my own room and my clothes was change.)

I shouted out of confusion.

Then suddenly someone came rushing into the room.

It was then I saw a lady wearing a maid uniform entering the room who was in shocked and panic upon seeing me shouting like a mad man.

"Miss please calm down and stop shouting!" She said gently.

I calm myself and ask her. "Who are you? Where am I? Why am I here? What did you do to me? Where are my clothes?".....

(I want answers and know what happened to me and why did I end up sleeping in someone's run.)

"Wait?" she stops me from asking another question. I look at her frustrated.

"Can you please ask one question before the other." she said eyeing me.

"First of all, Young master brought you here last night, you two were both soak in water because of the rain, he ordered me to change your clothes so that you won't get sick." She explained.

I was still at the same state of shock that I can't even process what she just said, so I ask her again. "Who brought me here?"

"Miss, Young master brought you here, I thought you were his girlfriend." she says confused.

"Oh no! I'm not,

I don't have a boyfriend." I said shyly.

"I'm sorry, here's your clothes." The lady said and hand me my clothes.

"I'll go get dress. " I tell her and excuse myself.

When I return, the bed was neatly fix but the lady was gone.

(Oh my gosh! Where did she go? Am I still dreaming? I pinch myself.)

"Ouch" that totally hurts.

"Miss the breakfast is ready." Out of nowhere she says.

"s**t! You freak me out!" I was surprise in her sudden appearance and for not knowing where she just came from and for not noticing her enter the room again.

(I think I'm gonna have some sort of heart attack.)

"I'm sorry Miss" she apologize.

"Oh? You don't need to be so formal. " I smile and said awkwardly.

"Young master told me to send you home. " she said casually.

"Oh! Thank you but there's no need for that." I refuses her offer.

"But, young master told me to send you home. Please, I don't want to lose my job." I can see the seriousness in her face that's why I don't say anything but nod and let her and the butler send me home after eating breakfast.

When I was about to get out of the car and say goodbye to the lady who brought me home. I remember that I haven't know the Young master's name so I ask the lady.

"Wait? What's the name of the person you called Young master?" I ask her.

The lady just smiled and said, "The young master tells me not to tell you, but he says that you'll surely meet again." after saying that she smiled and leave.

I was dumbstruck. I haven't say thank you to her. Only then somebody called me.

"Al? Why are you here? I thought you were still in your room." Cadastral shouted.

"We were so worried about you last night. We came home only to find out that you've already lock yourself in your room. We keep on knocking on your door but your not answering until Knox tells us not to bother you." she added feeling guilty.

"I'm sorry, I've fallen asleep! I just woke up early and couldn't sleep anymore that's why I've decided to jog." I make an alibi so that she won't know what really happens, I was so afraid that if she'll know she's going to tell mom and as usual mom will grounded me for a week for being so careless.

"Really? Why haven't you change your clothes?" she ask suspiciously.

(Oh crap! I guess I'm not a good liar and Cadastral was not that dumb. I need another alibi but I was too tried to make another one.)

"Coz...??? I was in hurry. I'll talk to you later. Bye" I say and run inside the house, unlock my bedroom and laid in bed thinking about what just happened last night.

(I totally don't remember what had happened last night after I passed out.)
