This is not a Prank
"It was a dark and stormy night ,the birds are quiet as the wind blew heavy suddenly, there was a loud knock on the door and a shadowy figure loomed in the window,it walked around slowly , silent and heavy, the figure raised a pale hand to the window, and a single drop of blood trickled down the glass, the home owner shivers in fear and then, a voice, hoarse and raspy, whispered through the door: "Let me in."the man stiffed and then, in an instant, the figure disappeared, leaving nothing but silence and stillness behind.
And then, from the shadows, a voice said: "It's just a prank, man open up please it John" said the voice , The man out of anger opens the lock "The door slowly creaked open, revealing a tall, dark figure" " it not a prank" the voice said silently "It's real," the figure hissed, its breath reeking of decay. "I'm here to take what's mine your blood." "No," the homeowner said, his voice shaking. "You can't have my blood. It's mine!" guess what "I am taking it" a huge scream broke out .
Early in the morning detective D approach the scene,"wow so much body part yet no blood"Detective D surveyed the gruesome scene, trying to make sense of the chaos. The walls were splattered with gore, and limbs were strewn across the floor. But the strangest thing of all was that there was no blood. It was as if someone had somehow sucked all the blood out of the victims.
"This is one of the most grisly crime scenes I've ever seen," Detective D muttered to himself. "But where is all the blood?"I have no idea detective D ,I just heard a huge scream and I came this morning and found Rodriguez like this "Thank you for your statement, ma'am," Detective D said, taking notes. "Can you tell me anything else about what you heard or saw?""Well, before I heard the scream, I thought I heard whispering coming from Mr. Rodriguez's apartment," the woman replied, wringing her hands nervously. "But I couldn't make out what they were saying."
"That's very interesting," Detective D said, his mind racing. "Do you know if Mr. Rodriguez had any enemies?"Well I don't really know but he has been odd for time now, he only goes out during the day and rushes home before 5pm behaving all paranoid "Paranoid, you say?" Detective D asked, his interest piqued. "Do you know if anything happened to Mr. Rodriguez recently that might have made him feel that way?"
"Not that I know of," the woman replied, shaking her head. "He's always been a bit of a loner, but he's never been like this before.""Well, I appreciate your help, ma'am," Detective D said, giving her a reassuring smile. "If you think of anything else that might be relevant, please don't hesitate to call me.""I will, Detective," the woman said.
Samuel rushes into detective D office "What's the matter, Samuel?" Detective D asked, looking up from his desk. "You look like you've seen a ghost."Samuel, a uniformed officer, was panting and his face was pale. "It's horrible, Detective," he said, struggling to catch his breath. "There's been another murder, and it's just as gruesome as the last one."Detective D's heart sank. "Where is it?" he asked, already reaching for his coat.
"It beside the mayor's primary house" her name is Samantha.."Samantha " Detective exclaimed , yes I am sorry to say your bethorned wife "You're kidding," Detective D said, his jaw dropping. "Samantha? But she's such a sweet lady, always volunteering at the animal shelter. Why would anyone want to hurt her?" "I don't know, Detective," Samuel replied, shaking his head. "But you'd better get to the scene as soon as possible. It's not pretty."Detective D nodded grimly. "Let's go," he said, and the two men rushed out the door.
As they ride there horse to the crime scene, Detective D's mind was racing. Samantha had always been such a kind, gentle soul. He remembers certain beautiful moments with her ,she was his betrothed wife after all before they both broke it off and went their separate ways , even though he doesn't really know her so well ,he felt sad.
Suddenly John came out from nowhere with his horse, stopped detective D his horse and shouted untop his lungs "save me detective D, Fredrickson will to kill me" and immediately he went mute.John's shout pierced the silence of the moment and Detective D spun around to see John on his horse, his face pale and his eyes wide with terror. Before Detective D could ask what was wrong, John's horse reared up and bolted into the darkness.
Detective D started to run after John, but something stopped him in his tracks. A shadow moved in the corner of his eye, and he turned to see a figure standing in the shadows. It was tall and shrouded in darkness, but Detective D could make out the glint of a knife in its hand.
"John!" Samuel shouted, rushing toward his friend. But as he got closer, he could see that John wasn't moving. He was completely still, not even breathing."John, can you hear me?" Samuel asked, panic rising in his voice. But John didn't respond. He was frozen in place, his eyes wide and unblinking.
Detective D looked at the shadowy figure, his heart pounding in his chest. "What did you do to him?" he demanded.
The figure laughed, a low, menacing laugh that sent a chill down Detective D's spine. "I merely gave him a little knock" and immediately the figured disappeared, detective D perform CPR and as Detective D continued to perform CPR, John's breathing started to stabilize. But even as the color returned to his cheeks, he remained as still as a statue, his eyes fixed on some distant point in the distance.
Samuel was pacing back and forth, wringing his hands in worry. "What's wrong with him?" he asked, his voice cracking. "Is he going to be okay?"Detective D looked up from John, his brow furrowed in concern. "I'm not sure," he said. "We need to get him to a hospital."
"Detective D still had to visit the crime scene of Samantha" Detective D took a deep breath and steeled himself for what he was about to see. As he approached the place where people had seen Samantha last ,he noticed something glinting in the moonlight. It was a piece of jewelry, lying on the ground. He picked it up and recognized it immediately. It was the necklace that Samantha always wore, the one with the ruby pendant that had been a gift from his mother
The sight of the necklace filled Detective D with dread. If Samantha's necklace was here, that could only mean one thing. She must be truly dead,Detective D didn't want to believe it, but the evidence was staring him in the face. Something terrible had happened to Samantha, and she was gone. He had to find out who was responsible for this, and bring them to justice. But first, he had to help John.
Gently, he took John by the shoulders and tried to rouse him. "John, can you hear me?" he said, shaking him gently. "Please, wake up."Slowly, John's eyes started to focus, and he looked at Detective D. But even as his eyes focused, his expression remained blank.
