Chapter 9

Lance POV

I’ve been thinking the proposal of Liam to live together in Blake house… but I’m ashamed that I’ve been disturbing them because of what’s happening to me right now. I’m happy that there is someone who willing to helped me in this kind of situation. So, I’ve decided to accept the offer of Liam and I will tell it to them tomorrow. I’m lying here in my bed right now… my daughter wants to sleep in his Uncle Liam house so I said yes… its only me in this house… I got up and go to my drawer and get the box inside it… when I opened it is picture of my family when were still complete… in this picture I’ll smile super happy, I miss them so much it seems like its only yesterday that it happened. A small tear that come into my eyes, the pain is still here… can someone save me from this pain I don’t want to feel it again because it is too hard not to be affected of this pain… the box was a little bit bigger, its mu first time to looked at it since it is the thing that reminds me of my decease’s parents. I’ve opened it and there was an envelope inside it. it was given to me of my Aunt who passed way but I never opened it its only the picture whom I only see, so I get the envelope and I get the paper inside it and opened it… it was a letter from my late parents. I started to cry because of what I read… no!!! the letter was

Dear Lance and Drake

I’m sorry if we were going leave you this so soon, our time is getting near my dear children, I hope you will forgive us of what were going to do, it’s not our intention to leave you, we just want to protect you from the people who will trying to hurt the both of you. Lance you’re the most adorable and beautiful son to us, Drake you also are the cutest of all the children that we’ve see. My two sons you’re the most memorable gift that god given to us. I know someday you will read this I hope you’ll understand why we would live you. Me and your mother is a member of an organization, they are bad that’s why we apart from them, but they don’t want us to be alive and they didn’t know at first that I have two sons but later they know… I know they will kill us for telling to their enemies the information about of what their doings. My sons please take care of each other, if we can’t survive this, please be strong and be brave. Lance please take care of your little brother for us, we love you and farewell…

From your loving mom and dad

I cried and I cried mom, dad why?... I’m sorry I didn’t take care of my brother the way you said in this letter. Mom, Dad sorry, sorry, I cried till I get exhausted. The reason of my parent’s death is not an accident but they were killed by these people. Then why did they don’t save my parent to their boss, because they give them an information?! Why they so selfish not saving my parents. I get angry to the people who is the reason of the death of my parents. I’m going to find who are them… there is another envelope but I can’t read it anymore because of my crying nonstop… and maybe the reason why my brother got missing is it because my brother is with them… oh god please help me… I fall asleep because I’m tired of crying… I will find them mom and dad I promise.

In the next morning I got up with a heavy feeling in my heart, but I need to cover it up so that they can’t observe me that I’ve been crying. I texted Liam that I had an answer about his proposal. I need to protect my daughter to them so that it doesn’t repeat what happened in the past. I prepare the things that I need to bring in Blake house so that when we leave later there is no more packing the things, so I started packing my clothes and my daughter clothes and the important thing that I need to bring including the box. After packing the clothes, I prepared myself and do my morning routines eat breakfast and leave the house. When I got to the coffee shop the three boys they are also there, and I said good morning to them. Later on, Liam came and I follow him to his office and I talked to him what my decision is.

“I agree of what you said to me yesterday.” I said to him

“are you sure” he asked me if I’m sure

“yeah, I’m sure I just want to protect m daughter from harm.” I said to him

“okay I will call them,” he said and called them. After that the three boys came into the office and sit on the sofa.

“Lance agreed about living together in your house Blake.” Said Liam

“oh! That’s great.” Said Kalen

“so, when can we move in your house.?” Clint asked Blake

“after our work here, you can move into my house.” Blake said

“and by the way I’ll ask Aunt Nimfa to bring Shaniya to his house.” Said Liam

“okay.” I said to them

“and we will go to your house later to get your things.” Said Blake

After the discussion about later of moving on to his place, we got back to work and do our assigned work. Everyday many people who came into this café. I’m getting the order when someone bumped me.

“ouch! Hey careful aren’t you looking you’re going through.?” I said to him

“no? and you blocking my way.” he said to me with lofty looks. This kid is really something else

“I didn’t block your way but you did.” I said to me

“you’re just a waiter so why I’m wasting my time for you.” he said while looking at me with insult look and he bumped again which caused me to throw the hot coffee at me and it so painful in my feeling right now.

“hey! What’s happening here, oh my god Lance you were filled with the hot coffee… are you okay” Said Miguel with concern

“I’m okay.” I said to him and since the voice of Miguel heard throughout the coffee shop, it get an attention to everyone especially to Blake who hurriedly come to me and ask me if I’m okay and I said I’m okay even for myself I know I’m not because it’s a hot coffee.

“what did you do to him.” Said Blake to the boy with a cold voice

“he’s getting on my way so that’s why he throws the coffee by himself.” Said that arrogant boy

“really but on what I saw you’re the one who bumped him.” Said Blake

“no! I’m not.” He said

“really? do I need to review the CCTV camera just to know that you’re the one who bumped him.” Said Blake and the boy leave the coffee immediately because of embarrassment.

Xander POV

I saw what happened but that Miguel preceded me to go first to Lance, this boy is getting into my nerves, I swear if my patience gets full I’m going to punch him by hi face. He is so irritating when he will be getting near to Lance. So, I came into the scene when the boys get to further with his brat attitude. After the boy get out from the coffee shop I bring Lance to the office of Liam, and got shocked of what happened to Lance.

“what happened to him.” He said and went to the sofa

“there was a boy who has a brat attitude and bumped him with no reason, then the hot coffee that he been holding got throw to his clothes.” I said while in the inside of my thoughts I’m going to break his legs because of what he did to my love.

“WHATTTT!!!” he said while shouting…is he always like this whenever he is shocked every time there’s an incident that happening

“yeah, but let him he still a child.” Said Lance

“you are always kind to the people around you even if they have done something wrong to you.” Liam said

“it’s okay, and all I need is to change my clothes, that’s all.” Lance said…why he has to be kind to everyone. He has a soft heart that can melt the heart of a stone man like me. He captured my attention the first time I saw him in this coffee shop. He makes my heart beat beating fast and he gave me back to life, that I need to let go the bad things that happened to me in my past… he is just like a pain reliver to me. He changed his clothes and returned to his work and me also I returned to my work.

Lance POV

After I change my clothes, I went to the job I left behind after the incident between me and that child. he must be taught a good lesson from his parents no to be arrogant in front of other people. After the incident the flow of our work in the coffee shop was been a little tough because of what happened to me, I feel like I’m going to get sick but I tried not to be obvious that I’m starting not to get feeling well. The whole day I was so tired that I just want to lay on my bed and take a rest. after we closed, we traveled to my apartment to get my things and Shaniya things. When we got to my house, we took the things since it was been ready since this morning. We arrived at Blake’s house then suddenly a voice echoed in my ear, and I miss her so much since yesterday.

“Papa!!! I miss you.” she said while running

“be careful you may fall on the ground.” I said to her and hug her.

“I miss you daddy.” She said

“I miss you too my princess. How are you?” I asked her and take her in my arms while we walking to get inside the house.

“I’m okay papa, Uncle Blake house is so big and Aunt Nimfa take care of me very much papa.” She said… just watching her I feel relive in every smile that she gave to me. The house of Blake are so big, is he only living here in this house? So I ask him while were going to the sofa to take a rest.

“Blake, are you the only one living here in this big house of yours?” I asked him

“no, my dad also live here, but mostly he stayed in our other house.” He said, wow they really rich

“wow!” I just only said

“okay I will take you to your room here.” He said to me

“okay, baby go to Aunt Nimfa first and behave.” I said to her

“yes, papa.” And she goes to aunt Nimfa… Blake escorted to the room that for the meantime will be my room, he carried by baggage.

“this is your room and feel at home… later on Clint, Kalen and Liam will be here then we eat dinner, and Shaniya has her own room here.” He said to while looking into my eyes

“thank you so much Blake, I’m speechless of words.” I said to him

“it’s my own decision to help you and beside that I have a reason why I need to help you.” he said to me

“what is the reason is that.?” I asked him… and then he closed the door and he getting near me until he cornered me in the wall, while looking at my eyes… until he said the words that I want to hear from him.

“it is because I have a special feeling towards you… I like you and maybe more than that. “he said to me in a soft voice. My heart is beating to fast that I forgot to breathe when he kissed me on the lips, it’s my first time to be kissed by someone. The feeling of being kissed by him is ethereal, I don’t know how to kiss, but I just go with the flow of our lips being connected. I kiss him back and we kissed slowly until we run out of breath… he place his forehead on my forehead and smile at me.

“I like you Lance I super duper like you, ever since I meet you in the coffee shop.” He confessed to me

“I like you too Blake.” I said to him and smile and hug him and he hug me back

“oh, thanks god you feel the same way too, I thought you don’t have a feeling for me.” He said to me… I smiled at him

“really?” I asked him

“yes! But Lance can I court you.? “he said to me

“am I a woman for you to court?” I asked him while smiling.

“of course, the beauty you have is more than beautiful compared to a woman, that’s why you make my heart like you.” he said to me… when we heard a knock on the door…

“papa? Are you sleeping.?” She asked me

“no, baby I will go out wait for me downstairs.” I said to her

“okay papa… Uncle’s are there now… and tell Uncle Blake to don’t lock the door of your room” she said while giggling… and it made shock and looked at Blake and we both laugh and he kissed me again but it’s a smack. I think my bad feelings towards my body got fade away.
