Chapter 17

Lance POV

Three days have passed and I’m still at the house since Xander told me to get a rest first and suggested me that I will go back to work after new year so I said yes so that there will no more argument and I got so much time spending on my daughter who is playing here in the garden. I’m watching her playing and when she looks at me she smiles and I smile also… but I’m getting bored here right now, maybe tomorrow I will visit them in the coffee shop. I miss Blake also since last day his not here because his father called him to stay for a while on their other house.

“baby do you want to come to papa tomorrow we will visit your daddy.” I said to her

“yes, papa I will come to you, and I miss daddy too.” She said

“come let’s get inside baby we need to eat for lunch.” I said to her and we go the kitchen I washed her hands first and we started eating. After eating we go back to our room and we sleep. After 3 hours of sleeping I wake up but my princess is still sleeping I got down from the stairs and go to the kitchen to eat because I got hungry. My phone beeped and it was Blake he said that he can’t come home because his dad still needs him and I replied okay, I understand his situation so I let it be, but I miss him so much. When I’m done eating I go to the garden and then thinking about how my brothers is, I’m still longing at him… when Sofia came in

“brother Lance, how are you.?” she asked me and sit next to me, Sofia is only sixteen-year-old he just like the age of my brother

“I’m okay… did you have fun on going to the mall.” I said to her and I ask also if she have fun on exploring to the mall since she will have a vacation in Korea where her Aunt the sister of their mother wants them to be in Korea.

“yes. I enjoyed but brother Lance do you trust brother Xander.?” He asked me about Blake

“yes, I trust him wholeheartedly.” I said to her with a genuine smile and she hugged me and we have so much talk, I really miss her even she lives with us I barely see her and have bonding with each other. Until Liam and the others came only Blake is not here.

“good evening everyone.” I said to them

“good evening too, and by the way Xander didn’t go to the coffee shop today. Do you know where he goes” Liam said to that Blake didn’t go to the coffee shop today and he ask me if I know where Blake go.

“oh really? he texted me that dad needs him, but he didn’t tell me that he would not go to the coffee shop.” I said to them and while I keep on playing with Shaniya in the living room. When Sofia got up and said

“I’m not going to eat the dinner tonight I’m still full, good night everyone.” She said and go upstairs, we looked at each other because of her sudden behavior.

Sofia POV

That’s why I go upstairs to think if I will tell brother Lance or not about of what I saw in the mall earlier. Brother Xander is with a girl and they holding hands while walking but that girl is a familiar one, I need to tell my brother first because I don’t know what to do. That’s why I ask brother Lance if he trust brother Xander and I got hurt of what he said because he smiles genuinely but I now myself that he will going to be hurt someday or even tomorrow. That’s why I came here in my bedroom to think and I know my brother will come here to tell what is wrong with me why I acted that way because I can’t see it he knew that Brother Xander is with uncle but unfortunately, he is with another girl. After an hour brother knock on my door.

“it’s open you can come.” I said to him

“princess why you acted that way, I know you have something on your mind, mind to tell your brother.” he said to me

“yes brother, I have something on my mind right now.” I said to him

“what is it.?” he asked

“brother, brother Xander is lying about he is with uncle now.” I said to him

“what are you talking about?” he asked me and he looks curious

“I saw him in the mall earlier but he didn’t saw and he is with another girl, I saw it in my own eyes.” I said to him and he got shock on what I said to him

“are you sure about that princess.?” He asked me again

“yes, brother I’m sure of it… and the girl was familiar with me.” I said to him

“what does the woman look like.?” My brother asks

“she’s a bit tall, long hair, a skinny white skin and her face is look like… OH MY GOD!!! Brother, I remember her face.” I said to him I know that girl but why?

“who is she princess?” brother said but I know he a hint but he needs to confirm it

“it’s… it’s Nathalie brother.” I said to him and I saw his eyes git bigger

“w…what she’s back but why Xander is with her.?” brother asks

“I don’t know brother, we don’t know what’s on brother Xander’s mind.” I said to him

“I know he has a planned and the thing that I’m afraid is that, Lance will be hurting.” Said brother

“brother what will we do.?” I asked him

“I don’t know… you can go to sleep don’t worry I will think a way.” He said to and before he leaves he kissed my forehead.

Liam POV

The news that I heard about Xander being with Nathalie is making me confused because Xander would never do that to Lance, I know there’s something that’s going on. When I arrived at my room, Kalen is there waiting for me…

“what’s with that face hon.” He said to me

“I have something to tell you” I said to him

“what is it.?” he asked me

“I will tell you this but don’t you ever tell it Lance.” I said to him

“why?” he asked me but later he nod his head

“I came from Sofia’s room, I asked her what she acted that way earlier when we are in the living room, she said to me that Xander is not with his dad and he is with Nathalie earlier.” I said to him and he got shock and his eyes get wide

“w…what!!! When did she arrive and what Xander think to be with that woman.” He said to me

“I don’t even know hon, it will affect Lance health since he still in recovering.” I said to him

“yes, it will, what would we do.?” He asked me

“confront Xander about this, we need his explanation because if don’t give us the explanation that I need I will be going to hate him.” I said to him

“can we tell Clint about this.?” He asked me, when someone knock our door

“yes come in.” Kalen said and Clint came in

“I have something to tell you.” he said to us

“spell it.” I said to him

“I saw Xander last day with other woman and that woman is Nathalie, when I’m traveling to go back home.” He said to us and he get curious when we don’t have a reaction

“we know because Sofia saw them also in mall this day when she is roaming around the mall.” I said to him

“the only I’m curious about is when he is with Nathalie he go back to the cold person and don’t have an expression.” Said Clint

“there is something that he planning or that girl blackmailing Xander on something that she knows.” I said to them

“do you know something Liam.” Said Clint

“I have a lack of evidence, but when the time come I’ll tell you all.” I said to them and we keep silent after that thinking what would we do after this happening.

“I’ll go back to my room and think something that may help.” He said and go out in our room.

“let’s sleep.” He said to me and we lay down on our bed and he hug me from behind

“good night hon, we will have a solution about this problem.” He said to me

“good night too hon.” I said to him… I know hon, because if I complete reading the diary of my parents I will make everything go back to normal, there’s a lot of something that I will tell you all when the times come. Especially to you Lance I have many things to say about your parents and I hope you forgive them when you will meet them… yes, I know that Lance true parents is still alive, that’s what my parent’s diary said, the people whom they grow up is not their real parents but that’s their uncle… I’ve never finished my reading if I have some time to read I will read it all… I sleep and I wished that everything that I now right now was just a dream.

Xander POV

The feeling that your lying to the person you love is very painful and I’m feeling it right now, I miss him badly that I want to go there but I can’t because if I go he will be in danger and my dad will be in danger also, dad is not here in the mansion, he is at work and Nathalie is on her room, I don’t share a room with her because no one can touch my body only Lance. A tear falls down from eyes, how I wished that it is a dream and I’m with the person I love when I’m awake but it is the reality that I can’t be with him. When I look at Nathalie she has a resemblance with Shaniya, what if she is the mother of Shaniya and I’m total sure that I’m not a father so I secretly get the strand of her hair and I secretly told Louise to get a strand of hair to Shaniya, no one knows it it’s only me I just told Louise not to tell them about it. I’m here at my old room, being alone here makes my heart longing for someone, I wish you were here my love, I wish that I’m with you, I hold the necklace that she gave to me and it has a letter L in the pendant. I kissed it and I looked also the bracelet that my daughter gave to me and I cry for missing them… I’m sorry if I break my promise to you… I’m sorry for everything. I know when you know about it you’ll leave and thinking about you leaving me makes my heart turn into pieces because it hurts so much… I sleep because I will go to the coffee shop tomorrow to tell them about the situation and I need their help.

In the morning I wake up with a heavy heart…without you by my side my world is so dark. I do my morning routines and get out of my room, I go to the kitchen and I saw her eating and she called me to eat with her

“good morning baby, come eat with me.” She said

“no thanks, I’ll go to work today so stay here.” I said to her

“okay you can go to work because I know that man is not there.” She said…and I rolled my eyes, your just have an envy feeling towards him because he’s more beautiful than you are. I just go to my motorbike and drive it to the coffee shop. When I get there, I saw Liam and my two friends.

“thanks lord you came.” Said Kalen, but Liam drag me to his office and the two are coming also

“Xander tell us everything.” Said Liam with finality in his voice and I tell them that Nathalie knows that my father is the one who didn’t help Lance parents after they give the information that they need to my dad… and when I confronted dad he didn’t know anything about it, about the information that Lance parents tell about it and since his parents are died no one knows whom they tell. I said to them

“that’s why I keep on distance with Lance because I don’t want him to get hurt again.” I said to them sadly

“but you hurting yourself, if you tell it to Lance I know he will understand you.” said Clint and someone knock on the door Clint opened and it was Lance with Shaniya. Oh my god I wanted to hug them but someone came also and…

“baby Xander I came here to look at you while working.” Nathalie said and kissed me on lips, I heard gasps and I looked at Lance theirs a tears in his eyes and he told Liam to hold Shaniya and run outside with a tears in his eyes, I’m sorry Lance I want to chase you right now but I know your life would be in danger I’m sorry Lance I’m sorry I hope you forgive me and Liam told Kalen to hold Shaniya and he run towards outside and it getting darker outside because the rain will pour. When a little hand hold my hand

“daddy why did you hurt my papa.” She said and I tear flow down to her beautiful face

“I’m sorry princess, I’m sorry.” I said to her and I started crying because I hurt two important people in my life.

“I hate you daddy, I hate you.” she said and run towards Kalen who shake his head for telling me that he will be the one who take care of Shaniya… when Shaniya

“uncle Kalen it hurts I can’t breathe.” She said and Kalen is getting panicked by now. And he yelled at Clint to get the car and I carried my daughter to the car I don’t care if I have to face the consequence right now I need my daughter to be safe. Kalen called Liam about Shaniya that we will bring her to the hospital. I’m scared totally scared, god guide me please, guide me to the right path.
