Chapter 18

Lance POV

Why this hurt so much seeing your boyfriend with another woman and she kissed him in front of me is so hurtful. I’m still running… running away from them because it’s painful, I need air to breathe… why he didn’t push the girl? Why he didn’t have a reaction like he was expecting the kiss coming from that woman… I may not enough to him? While I’m running my tears can stop coming down to my face… I stopped in a small park, I sat on the bench, the rain will pouring in a minute of time… when someone called my name and it was my best friend, I thought he will come to comfort me but he choose that woman over me, and I cry hardly…

“Lance!” He shouts from a far and slowly come to me and seated by my side… he hugged me

“why? Why Liam?” I asked him why Blake do that to me

“I don’t know Lance.” He said to me

“why he didn’t resist that woman from kissing him? Who is she.” I asked while still crying because it hurts so much.

“that’s… that’s Xander’s ex-girlfriend.” Said Liam

“but why did he with that woman.?” I asked

“I don’t Lance, all you need to do is asked Xander about that.” He said to me

“it hurts Liam, it hurts so much.” I said to him and while he is comforting his phone rang and the rain starts pouring.

“hello.” Said Liam on the phone and he click the loudspeaker I his phone so that I can hear the conversation

“Liam! Go to the hospital right now, were bringing Shaniya there because she can’t breathe!” said Kalen and I run to the near bus station because of what I heard my daughter is in the hospital

“where did hospital you bring Shaniya.” Said Liam and we ride the bus to the hospital were did they bring Shaniya. When we get there, I run towards where they are and Blake is also there but I didn’t look at him and I go to Kalen to ask what happened

“what happened to her?” I asked him

“it’s so sudden actually, she said to me that she can’t breathe and then she got unconscious while were coming here and we were waiting the doctor to come out.” He said to me and I’ve seated behind them not still looking for Blake I know that he is looking at me but I don’t want to look at him right it still hurt. And then the doctor came out from the room and I stand

“who is the parents of this child?” he asked

“me doctor.” I said to him, why did he didn’t stand?

“I will go directly to you; your daughter has severe heart failure.” He said to me

“w…what? How come my daughter has an illness like this.?” I asked the doctor

“because she already has a heart failure when she was a baby but due to the she didn’t taking so much emotion and she can feel the hurt in her heart but in her mind is just a tiring day for her.” said the doctor and I got stunned and my knee got weak.

“is there a possible treatment for her.?” said Liam because I can’t talk right now because of the sudden confession

“I’m sorry about that but we don’t have a way to cure her since her body can’t take the operation.” Said the doctor

“how many weeks or months, year that she had left.” I asked the doctor

“2 weeks she has remaining 2 weeks.” Said the doctor and I started crying, why it comes this way I didn’t know that she has an illness like that, oh my god my princess I don’t want to lose her.

“can we see her now.?” I said

“yes, you can.” Said the doctor and he bid us a goodbye and return later. When I get into her room I slowly walking to her bed and sit in the available chair next beside her bed, I hold her hand.

“princess don’t leave papa please, papa can’t take it, papa will get sad if you leave me, also your uncle, and also, you will go to school next year.” I said to her, while my tears keep om coming down to my face, why did this happen, when she open her eyes.

“pa… papa.” She softly said

“baby.” I said to her

“papa… I’m sorry I didn’t tell when my heart is aching I thought is just I’m tired of playing, I’m sorry papa.” She said while crying

“stop crying princess it will affect your heart.” I said to her

“papa, if I will leave you don’t be sad okay… I will guide you.” she said

“don’t say that princess you’ll not going to leave me.” I said to her while crying, she’s keeping my tears away using her small hand

“papa… what the doctor said?” she asked me and that’s make me mute because I can’t answer her

“papa, I know my time is getting nearer and I hope you forgive me because I didn’t say to you what I’m feeling this past week, because I don’t want to burden you.” she said to me and I’m still crying and can’t talk

“papa thank you for everything you made to me, I’m thankful that you save me from that day, I’m happy to be your daughter and I’m happy that you became my papa. Let me sleep for a while papa I will wake up later” She said and I cry harder because it so sudden to be like this.

Xander POV

The pain that I feel right now is unbearable I can’t see them hurting, and my daughter is… oh god I don’t want to mention it because it is hurting me. Why did this happen to us suddenly, why we can’t see that she is suffering, I bow my head because my tears are coming I cry silently while listening to their conversation, I can’t bear it, can someone wake me up in this nightmare because I don’t like it. Clint patted my back I know he is still in tears everyone of us is in tears. Later on, Shaniya got sleep and Lance got out maybe he will go to the church in this hospital, Liam came to him and Kalen only me and Clint who are here watching here, when she opened her eyes. And she looked at me

“daddy can come with here, papa is not here.” She said, so meaning she didn’t want to sleep, she only uses that for excuses

“I’m sorry princess, I’m sorry” I said to her while caressing her hair

“daddy do you love papa?” she asked me

“I love your papa so much princess, but someone is getting on our way.” I said to her

“is that my mom.” She said and I got stunned the results of the DNA is not yet finished but she told the truth. And also, Clint got shocked of what Shaniya said

“how did you know that she is your mom?” I said to her

“because even if I’m still a kid daddy I know the face of my mom, she don’t like me at all and dad is the one who taking care of me, but mom blackmailed my dad if he don’t kill me she will kill me by herself, but dad is a kind person and he loves me, that’s we run away from home but dad leave on that park that’s why I meet papa Lance.” She said to me

“why she doesn’t like you.” I said to her

“because she doesn’t want a kid in her life.” Said Shaniya and I caress her face

“but papa and daddy love you.” I said to her

“and I love you both, I’m so happy that I meet you two and uncle’s” she said while smiling

“so please be strong,” I said to her and kissed her fore head

“daddy” she called me

“yes princess” I said to her

“when I’m gone promise me something.” She said and I got tear eye because she will leave us in any moment

“what is it princess.” I said to him

“don’t hurt papa anymore, I don’t want him to be sad daddy” she said

“I promise.” I said to her

“I’m going to sleep daddy.” She said and close her eyes. I’m watching here sleeping because maybe in a day she will be gone and it breaks my heart, she gives me a joy and happiness and I will remember it forever. I go back to the couch and Lance and two came back also, he never looks back at me and it hurts me so much, he doesn’t want to talk to me. I stand up and go out from the room because it so awkward there, when my phone beep. And it was Nathalie I sigh and leave the hospital with heart break in my heart and also anger for the person who made all of this… I swear I’m going to make you down just wait for the right come.

Liam POV

It’s been three days already and Shaniya heart is getting very bad and her body is weak now. And this is the end of the year, we will welcome the new year here in the hospital, Xander and Lance they still not talking, Xander is getting colder and colder to Lance and I know that woman blackmailed him again, just wait you b***h your time is getting near I will tell the truth them… I hope Lance can bear the pain, we suggested Xander to tell him but he refuses he don’t want Nathalie have a suspicion to him, but I told him to tell it before it’s too late. And he agrees to us he will tell it to Lance later. Were here now at the hospital, so we leave Lance and Xander in the room of Shaniya since she is sleeping.

Lance POV

We are the only two who left here in my daughter’s room… and it was a silent moment for the both us until he speaks.

“I’m sorry babe.” He said to me

“why did you do that.?” I asked him

“I will tell but hear me out first okay.” He said to me

“okay speak.” I said to him

“Nathalie blackmailed me into something that I can’t tell you right now because I’m still having an investigation about it and I’m sorry if I lied but promise I didn’t let here get near me.” I said to him

“but she kisses you.” I said to him

“but I didn’t expect it and I got shock, I’m sorry babe, I hope you’ll forgive me.” He said to me

“hmmm… you don’t have a feeling for her?” I asked him

“nope I don’t have, promise cross my heart hope to die.” He said to me that makes me smile and he hugged me

“I miss you very much.” He said to me

“I miss you too.” I said to him and he kissed me on the lips

“I miss that kissed also.” He said and wink at me… when the three of them came into the room

“so, you two have settled with the issue, I will have a sad suggestion.” Said Liam

“what is it.” said Blake who still hugging me… oh god I miss being his embrace

“you need to make it private that the two you are okay now, you still need to be apart in her eyes.” Said Liam

“yeah babe, Liam is right she has an eye on me so we need to still apart but don’t worry I will make a way to be with you.” he said to me and I’m okay with it, and the new year is getting nearer when my daughter wakes up.

“Daddy, papa uncle come here.” She said so we came to her

“yes princess… only 3 minutes it’s new year now.” Said Liam

“hmm… papa, daddy… it’s time for me to go… I’m tired papa I want to take a rest now.” She said to us and my tears are coming down also the three boys, and dad came in with Sofia and they came towards the bed where Shaniya is

“grandpa and Aunt you came… thank you all for accepting as your family.” She said

“princess don’t please.” Said Blake

“I’m happy that both of you are okay now, thank you so much.” She said

“princess is you really tired.?” I asked her

“yes, papa I’m tired can I sleep now?” she asked and my tears are kept on coming down

“yes, princess you can sleep now, always remember papa and daddy, uncles, grandpa and aunt love you.” I said to her

“I love you all thank you for everything.” She said while smiling and she slowly closed her eyes and she sleep peacefully without pain. I hugged her body and cried we cried and that moment while everyone is celebrating because they welcome the new year with happiness but us we welcome the new year with the pain that my daughter is no longer in this world, she is resting peacefully now, I will miss your smile princess, I will miss your sweet words for us, I will miss everything about, I love you princess until we meet again, say hi to my mom and dad there I love you forever princess you may now rest in peace. Blake hug me he also silently crying… all of us are crying because the only who give joy to us, the only stress reliver we had are gone. The doctor came and he give us condolences and they bring Shaniya to morgue. When we go out Blake is not with me anymore because someone is watching that’s why Liam hug me, and that’s hurt me the most the person you love is gone while the other is away because of that b***h Nathalie. We decided to cremate Shaniya because we want to keep her in our memory. Farewell princess papa loves you so much.

Someone POV

I've cried because my daughter is gone now... It hurts me because I'm no there when she is out of life, I'm sorry my princess if daddy didn't make it... I promise I will avenge for you because if it not them we will not got away from each other.. I love you princess
