Chapter 57 An hour later they checked to see if any progress was made on the prints. None, so they settled into Knutson's office to go through the case again. Around four thirty, the M.E. called. “I think I might have something you can use.” Knutson said, “Be right down.” Two minutes later, “We got lucky, one of the bullets is in good shape. The ballistics are clear.” He picked it out of a small tray and placed it in Knutson's hand, “Here, now match it to a gun and you're good to go.” Knutson stood there for a moment with the bullet in his outstretched hand, “Huh, that's all there is to it.
