Changing of the Guards
Alpha Captain woke up looking at the sky and out of breath. He rolled over as saw the rest of men running from the crows attacking them. He noticed that the crows were not attacking anyone but his men. He needed to get out of here. His wolf surged and he was off into the woods. He stopped after a while, when he was sure nobody had followed him. He shifted back to his human form and began looking for his horse and men. He thought about all the things that happened. The plan was to initiate a confrontation enough that it would set this Alpha up against the real king. Then he would get his land back and wouldn’t have to lift a finger. It was brilliant, but something went wrong. Then he thought about the woman, with the blonde hair. Oh how he wanted to be the one to do her in.
