The Princes’s homecoming
A few months later Baron, Adella, Marcus and Iris said good-bye to the pack they had come to love so deeply. Pax had been made the Alpha and Delta the Luna. It was important that the Kingdom have an heir and Baron with his family secured that for several generations. The pack easily accepted Pax as the Alpha and this made Baron feel much better about the transition. Baron helped Adella into the carriage with Iris in her arms. Iris was a very happy baby with a smile for everyone who came in contact with her. Her bright green eyes took in the world and she just smiled back. She cooed at her father as she went with her mother. Baron had been at such ease with everything, he had built a life all on his own.
