Chapter 1 A Night to Remember
Celine's POV It was a bright Saturday morning and I felt so happy when I woke up. It was Johnson's second anniversary, and it was a special day. It had taken me months to plan the ideal celebration for him, and now the day had come. I was so excited that I reached for my phone on the nightstand to see what time it was. Then I hurried out of bed and went directly to the kitchen. I started by making Johnson a homemade breakfast because I wanted to make his day special. Everything felt cozy and warm because of the aroma of fresh coffee and sizzling bacon filling the air. I thought of Johnson and how delighted and surprised he must be as I set the table. My friend Mary entered the kitchen just as I was finishing up the table. "There is a nice smell," she grinned. I chuckled. "It is not for you, but for Johnson!" “Oh, Johnson, our sweetheart?”Mary laughed. “Yeah, he is mine.”I gave her some back-teasing. I pushed her out of the kitchen gently and said "It is okay for you to prepare breakfast!" Mary laughed, picked up some food, and walked out of the kitchen. After an hour, everything was prepared. I was waiting for Johnson with bated breath, checking my phone frequently for messages. But as time went on, I became concerned. Johnson never arrived late without informing me. My excitement gradually gave way to fear. In the end, I decided to go surprise him at his house because I thought perhaps something had happened. My heart was pounding when I got to Johnson's building. I tried to gather my thoughts as I ascended the stairs to his flat. I turned the key Johnson had given me and opened the door after taking a deep breath. But what I found inside was a nightmare come true. Johnson was in the living room with another woman! I was seeing things that I could not believe. I was paralyzed by pain and shock. "Johnson!" I shouted, my voice trembling. "What is happening?" “ It's not what you think!” He looked pale and stammered. Johnson jumped up and quickly put on his trousers as the woman reached for a sheet to cover herself. “Why are you doing this?”I asked, my voice shaking. A wave of betrayal and rage swept over me. “Why this day of all days? Why now on our anniversary?” Johnson tried to explain, but I couldn’t hear anything he said. I was too hurt. I turned and rushed out of his flat without waiting for a reply. Tears filled my face as I drove back to my flat. My emotions were all over the place when I got home, including hurt, anger, and disbelief. When I came in, Mary was seated on the couch. She came over to hug me right away. "Celine, how are you doing?" she asked, clearly concerned. I collapsed and wept into her shoulder. "Mary, he cheated on me. Johnson... he was with someone else." “ What an i***t!” Mary's expression darkened. “You are so deserving of better than him." "I know, but it hurts like hell." I cried. Mary gave me a tight hug. "You need to move on from someone who would hurt you like this, I know it is hard." "Now what should I do? How can I get over this?" With tears in my eyes, I looked at her. "Let us go out tonight. We are going to the bar with our friends. Even for a short while, it could help divert your attention." She said. "Alright, Mary. I am going. I am not sure, though, how much I will like it." I agreed after giving it some thought. "Do not worry, Celine. We are going to support you. Simply go one step at a time." Mary cheered her up with a smile. We went to the bar later that evening. People were chatting and music was playing in a lively atmosphere. My heart was still heavy, so I forced a smile, trying to participate in the conversation. My friends made an effort to cheer me up by having fun and light-hearted conversations. Mary remained by my side, watching over me. I was grateful for my friends' efforts, but betrayal still hurt. After a few drinks and some dancing, the night started to fly by. The drinks were starting to make me a little dizzy, so I went outside for some fresh air. A low, startling voice interrupted me as I was trying to clear my head by leaning against the wall. Would you mind joining me? The voice asked. I was surprised to see a handsome stranger with a smile standing next to me. Despite my nerves, he seemed strangely cozy. "Yes," I replied with a little slurred speech. "I would like to have some company." "I’m Phillip," he introduced himself. "I am Celine," I said, attempting not to laugh. I apologize; I am not feeling well tonight. "Why is this attractive woman standing by herself here?" Phillip gave a playful smile. "I just needed a break. It is nice to get away from people sometimes, even in a crowd," I said. Phillip gave a sympathetic nod. "I get it. Everybody needs a little vacation from the madness now and then." "I have had a difficult day. Today, my boyfriend cheated on me." I said. Phillip sighed. "I am so sad to hear that. Although heartbreak is difficult, never forget that you deserve to be treated with respect." "Thanks. It is just difficult to accept at this time." I forcefully smiled Phillip's consoling words eased my anxiety a little. "I know some people who could give him a lesson," he joked. "I do not want to go that far, but that sounds tempting." I laughed but felt bitter. We kept on talking, and Phillip's presence and sense of humor provided a nice diversion. I noticed that as the night went on, I began to get more at ease with him. I kissed him and leaned in before I realized it. The kiss began softly and soon became passionate. Everything else vanished for a brief moment. “That was not the right thing to do”. I pulled back. I felt stupid and confused. I shook my head and apologized. "Celine, do not worry. Everyone needs comfort sometimes."Phillip's face became gentler. Phillip led me to a private room, his mouth a mixture of alcohol and mint. His hands felt over my body as he laid me on the bed, and as we undressed,Phillip took off his pants and stuck his manhood inside my garden.I felt a deep connection with him. As he moved inside of me. We were both overcome with pleasure and fell on top of each other when the door creaked open.
