Sora's pov

As I watch the scene before me unfold I am bewildered to find out that this pack land belongs to my mate, well how about that looks like she has her property back, as I get a mind link

Alpha I absolutely love the Luna make sure to never get on her wrong side because if you do I siding with her hahahaha.

I couldn't help but growl at Max for his comment which to my dismay had him laughing even hard at what was happening

" Care to let me in on the joke" Ebony's bejewelled eyes stare at us in pure innocent curiosity as I tell her about what Max had said. "My love did you really have to growl though. and Hel also says it kinda was funny not that we would have you on our bad side"

Knock knock.........

"Come in.... ah Jodi what is it."

"Alpha, Luna as I was on my way back from sending the guests to the prison I received word that there is an emissary from the dragon clan at the gates should I let them in."

"of course we were expecting them to arrive at some point today." ebony responds so graciously.

with a quick bow gamma Jodi leaves the room.

Jodi's pov

what a day today is going to be, I've had to work late into the night to get this plan underway, from the Luna's suspicions she believes that the elder is trying to depose the alpha from his place, but this agitation is really getting to me

' So, are you gonna tell me what has you all in a twist today artemis.'

I'm absolutely sure she is as agitated as I am.

'We are finally getting our wish, our mate is on his way, I can feel his presence getting closer to the pack lands.'

Gamma Jodi there is an emissary from the dragon clan here should I let them in

As I await to greet our guests the scent of burnt embers on a glacial breeze graces my being. what a unique scent as I wonder who it could be my sights lock onto the emissary, he was tall with blonde hair highlighted in shade of silver and grey and those sharp golden eyes had me spellbound until I heard it

"mate, who would have thought it would be a high ranking wolf in this pack" his voice was soft but full of power and that smile just stole my heart

"mate, as you surmised I'm the gamma of wolf moon pack my name is Jodi."

" Jodi, ...... umm such a lovely name I'm Aeyr I'm the dragon king from the dragon clan, I also happen to be Ebony's father so I hope you won't hold that against me dear."

What the what i was shocked at that so just how old was he and the Luna for that matter.

"My dear I will explain everything shall we head to Sora's office."

Inside the office the air was full of tension, but then again will the information that's about to be shared it's understandable.

"ok before we start.... daaad can you explain what I'm looking at here quickly." ebony seems intrigued. "Ah yeah well about that..... umm I just so happened to find my second chance mate after all this time. Turns out the reason I hadn't found her yet was because she wasn't born until now." the big scary dragon king is blushing and shying away as he spoke to his daughter.

"Dad I'm so happy for you, I remember mum saying Azure died in a raid when I was a few months old.. You better take good care of my gamma". a playful response from the Luna with mirth flashing in both the faces of the Alpha couple.

"Ok so I suppose an explanation is needed.... so yesterday was my birthday everyone I work with thinks I turned 26 however that's not quite true. I am actually 6285. And yesterday was the first time I've seen my dad here since I was 6 months old, as I just said Azure his fated was killed along with their unborn clutch by barbarians when he came to visit me and my mum to tell us I'm going to be a big sister, I understood the action that was taken but not the emotion, as up until now I didn't have my own fated, As with every supernatural species finding a second chance is rare, so please I hope both of you will be happy together and just so you know Jodi, mates of dragons get the perk of longevity the stronger the dragon the older they are with the king being the strongest of all with the golden dragon, there is only one colour that can live as long and that is the black dragon like the dragon god, which by the way dad is why I'm still alive Hel is a black dragon.". shock spread over the faces of everyone in the room to think the Luna was that old was unreal, but to think she even had the rarest of dragons wow.

"So my love I think we should take a break and get some lunch before we continue and you can explain this land thing you spoke to the elder about I recall you saying about it last night but honestly I wasn't paying total attention." the alpha calls for lunch to be brought to the office with a selection of drinks
