evil rises

Zoey leaped under the desk, breathing heavily. "Calm down, Z." She started to tell herself, pushing her hands into her chest. Suddenly she heard it the stomping and machines whirling. "Come out, come out and play." The voice creaked as the wooden floor popped and snapped under it's feet. Zoey held her breath, praying to God that it wouldn't see her or hear her. Her heart thumped so loudly she could swear it was echoing in the whole room. "Zoey, I won't hurt you." The voice growled as it's foot stopped right in front of her. "Where did you go?" The creature began to ask itself. Zoey covered her mouth as tears began to fall down her cheeks. Fear began to take hold of her. It began to grip tightly around her she had to fight the urge to bolt for the door. Knowing the creature would snatch her before she even got close to the door. "Damn it come out now!" The creature slammed something on the table,splitters of wood shooting towards her face. Zoey's eyes began to sting as the shrapnel connected with her eyes. "Keep your cool Zoey. Come on don't freak out." She said to herself as the creature slowly walked past the table she was hiding under. She leaned forward a tiny bit and she wished she didn't. The creature was standing over her it's cold dark eyes gazing the room. It's kneck ticking as the gears in the thing swirled. Leaving her feeling uneasy. Tick tick tick the creatures body went as it turned unhuman like. Slowly Zoey started to slink into the shadows of the other side. Far away from this creature as she could. Suddenly the creature started slamming things. Items in the room began to fly around. "I will find you Zoey." The creature said as another table flew through the ai, crashing into the wall next to her a inch to the left and the table would have smashed into her head. Her eyes darted to the door, hoping she can make it before it found her. "Please God please." She repeated over and over as she crawled to the door as more tables flew barley missing her head. "I'm done playing with you!" It shouted as the tables stopped flying everywhere sending a cold chill up Zoey's spine. "Crap it knows where I am." She thought to herself as she slowly turned her head to look over her shoulder. The thing was staring in her direction smiling a ghoulish smile. "I found yooooou." It said creeping towards her inch by inch laughing as it did. "N......no." Tears once again started to fall down her face splashing onto the ground. "Run!" The voice in her head said sending her into a full sprint for the door. "Don't you dare..." The thing said as she could hear the gears winding up to a grinding. In a flash the creature rammed into her snatching her off her feet. Slowly the creature grinned flashing its teeth at her. "Now now now where do you think you're going?" It asked, smiling the teeth rotting and decaying. In a quick swoop, the creature snatched her by the throat lifting her off the ground,her feet dangling a few inches off the floor. "Damn it." She thought to herself as the cold metallic hand began to squeeze her throat shut. "Don't worry little Zoey." The creature said pulling her closer to it. "I'll make it very.....very painful." It whispered in her ear as it began to construct around her throat tighter. Slowly she could feel her pulse get weaker and weaker,the light in her eyes began to fade,darkness began to take hold,her struggling to get free began to cease. The creature smiled brightly "That's right time to go beyond to the other side tell your friends we said hello." The creature said applying more pressure to her throat till it heard a snap. Dropping her to the floor her body went limp slamming into the ground with a loud thud. Before the final light left Zoeys eyes she could see three figures standing infront of the light she couldn't make out details of them,but she could hear them. "It's ok child go onto the next life. No more worries." The voice said as the light finally gave turning into darkness.
