ABOUT C.W. LAURIE
C.W. Laurie was born in Brighton and grew up in Portsmouth and London. She started writing short stories from about the age of ten. Writing was a way of exploring the world inside her head. People have always fascinated her, and she spends a lot of time observing everything around her.
Writing is just one of the creative activities she enjoys—others include creative art and photography. Her stories often relate to memories of people, places, and times in her life. In her early teens, she found herself same-s*x attracted, and her story Yellow Rose is loosely based upon some of her thoughts and feeling around these early relationships.
She loves spending time with friends and family in nature and adores her pet cats.
